A menudo pensamos que esperar es algo difícil e incluso desagradable. Pero a veces esperar es maravilloso: esperar para dar una buena noticia, contar los días para el nacimiento de un niño o aguardar con emoción para poder dar un regalo especial.
Cuando aquello por lo que esperamos es algo bueno, la misma espera ya es todo un regalo. Así es esperar en el Señor. Con toda nuestra esperanza puesta en él, el resultado es seguro: la eternidad. Que cada parte de nosotros espere en él con gozosa emoción.
Oración:
¡Señor, me encanta esperarte! Como sé que tú solo traes cosas buenas, puedo esperarte para siempre. Tu Palabra es mi esperanza, y promete luz y vida para siempre en ti. Agradecida, llena de gozo, espero y deseo.
Joyfully I Wait
I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. PSALM 130:5 NIV
We so often think of waiting as hard, even unpleasant. But sometimes, waiting is wonderful: waiting to deliver great news, waiting for the birth of a child, the anticipation of giving a special gift.
When the thing we wait for is a good thing, waiting itself is a gift. This is how it is to wait for the Lord. With all our hope in him, the outcome is certain. The outcome is eternity. Let every part of us wait on him in joyful anticipation.
Prayer:
Lord, I love waiting for you! Because I know you bring only goodness, I can wait for you forever. Your Word is my hope, and it promises light and life forever with you. Gratefully, joyfully, I wait and I hope.
