¿Cuántas veces ha empezado la mañana con la misma esperanza? Conforme pasa el tiempo, puede ser un reto mantener la confianza. Y sin embargo, usted se consuela a sí mismo con la promesa: «Con Dios todo es posible» (Mateo 19.26). Sin dudas, esperar es difícil, pero también resulta necesario. Por medio de los tiempos de espera usted descubre sus puntos débiles y es entrenado a confiar en el Padre. Sin embargo, debe saber algo. Si lo que usted quiere lo aleja del Señor o hace que se olvide de Él, sí se niega a dárselo, hay un problema. Su deseo se ha convertido en su dios. Así que examine hoy su corazón. ¿Seguiría amando al Padre si Él le dijera que no a su petición más preciada? ¿Sigue Él ocupando el trono de su corazón? Asegúrese de ello. Pídale que quite todo ídolo y le ayude a reconocerlo como Dios. Y confíe en que lo que Él tiene para usted es inmensurablemente mejor que todo lo que pudiera esperar o imaginar.

Mi Señor, muchas veces esperar en ti nos cuesta y nos desespera, pero es allí donde somos perfeccionados y mudados a un nuevo hombre, por eso ayúdanos amado Espíritu Santo, a esperar en las promesas eternas, a tener paciencia y a que nuestra fe se fortalezca y crezca para poder creer que lo imposible se vuelve posible por tu poder, en el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
Wait on the Lord
Wait patiently for the Lord; be brave and courageous; yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
Psalm 27:14
If only today was the day. This thought crosses your mind often.
How many times have you started the morning with the same hope? As time goes on, it can be a challenge to maintain confidence. And yet you comfort yourself with the promise: “With God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). Waiting is certainly difficult, but it is also necessary. Through waiting times you discover your weak points and are trained to trust the Father. However, you must know something. If what you want takes you away from the Lord or makes you forget Him, if you refuse to give it to him, there is a problem. Your desires has become your god. So examine your heart today. Would you still love the Father if He said no to his most precious request? Does He still occupy the throne of your heart? Make sure of it. Ask Him to remove any idols and help you recognize him as God. And trust that what He has for you is immeasurably better than anything you could hope for or imagine.
Prayer:
My Lord, many times waiting on you costs us and despairs us, but it is there where we are perfected and changed to a new man, so help us, beloved Holy Spirit, to wait on the eternal promises, to have patience and for our faith to be strengthened and grow to believe that the impossible becomes possible by your power, in Jesus name, Amen.
