Romanos 4:18-20
Él creyó en esperanza contra esperanza, para llegar a ser padre de muchas gentes, conforme a lo que se le había dicho: Así será tu descendencia. Y no se debilitó en la fe al considerar su cuerpo, que estaba ya como muerto (siendo de casi cien años), o la esterilidad de la matriz de Sara. Tampoco dudó, por incredulidad, de la promesa de Dios, sino que se fortaleció en fe, dando gloria a Dios.
La biblia habla de Abraham el padre de la Fe, el cual creyó esperanza contra esperanza.
¿Qué es la esperanza?
Es la expectativa confiada y el anhelo de recibir las promesas que han sido prometidas a los justos.
La biblia habla de dos tipos de esperanza:
1- Esperanza en griego que es “inseguridad del futuro”, se define como una esperanza humanamente posible.
2- Esperanza en hebreo tradicional, esta se basa en las promesas y en el carácter de Dios, (esta es sobrenatural).
Dios capacitó a Abraham para convertirlo en el padre de la Fe, él tuve que pararse firme en la brecha y pelear una batalla dentro de él.
Romanos 4:18

El creer esperanza contra esperanza implica en que cuando las circunstancias muestran una cosa, debemos creer que Dios hará lo que Él ha dicho.
Quizás en este tiempo no estás viendo lo que deseas y anhelas pero debes recordar qué:
La esperanza siempre forja en nosotros una capacidad divina de creer en lo que Dios ha dicho.
Romanos 5:5
y la esperanza no avergüenza; porque el amor de Dios ha sido derramado en nuestros corazones por el Espíritu Santo que nos fue dado.
¿Cuál es tu esperanza? ¿Qué es lo que Dios te ha prometido? ¿Qué estás haciendo para que estás promesas se cumplan?
¡Debes pelear esperanza contra esperanza!
Oración:
Amado Dios, te damos gracias porque has puesto en nosotros la capacidad de creer en tus palabras aún cuando todo es incierto, cuando nuestros ojos naturales no ven nada, debemos creer que tú estás haciendo algo nuevo en nosotros, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.
“Hope against Hope”

Romans 4: 18-20
He believed in hope against hope, to become the father of many nations, according to what he had been told: So shall your descendants be. And he was not weakened in faith by considering his body, which was already as dead (being almost a hundred years old), or the sterility of Sarah’s womb. He also did not doubt, out of unbelief, the promise of God, but he was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.
The bible speaks of Abraham the father of Faith, who believed hope against hope.
What is hope?
It is the confident expectation and longing to receive the promises that have been promised to the righteous.
The bible speaks of two types of hope:
1- Hope in Greek which is “insecurity of the future”, is defined as a humanly possible hope.
2- Hope in traditional Hebrew, this is based on the promises and the character of God, (this is supernatural).
God enabled Abraham to make him the father of Faith, he had to stand firm in the gap and fight a battle within him.
Romans 4:18
He believed in hope against hope, to become the father of many peoples, according to what he had been told:
Believing hope versus hope implies that when circumstances show one thing, we must believe that God will do what He has said.
Perhaps at this time you are not seeing what you want and long for but you must remember what:
Hope always forges in us a divine capacity to believe in what God has said.
Romans 5: 5
and hope is not ashamed; because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
What is your hope What has God promised you? What are you doing so that these promises are kept?
You must fight hope against hope!
Prayer:
Dear God, we thank you because you have put in us the ability to believe in your words even when everything is uncertain, when our natural eyes see nothing, we must believe that you are doing something new in us, in the name of Jesus, amen .
