You are a child of God
Look with how much love our Father loves us who calls us His children, and that’s who we are!
1 John 3:1
We constantly cry out to the four winds how privileged and blessed we are by having been adopted as children of God through Jesus Christ; of course, it is a reason for our joy, it is a victory that Christ won and we are part of the spoils. We were saved, chosen and adopted into the family of God by grace and faith, an undoubted benefit that we have received without merit, like not rejoicing in it. However, I meditate on the purpose by which God has allowed it to happen; which is what He seeks with us as we become part of His kingdom. That is, God did not need us or still does not need us. He did not plead to save us because He considered that there was something of us that would attract him or make him need; and less, for us to assume in a certain way the attitude of: “Here I am, you have saved me, serve me, supplement because I am yours, you were the one who chose me,” as if for some reason he needed to deal with us.
It is our duty to understand that its purposes exceed the condition and need for salvation we had because of that condition we were in. We were favored by His benevolence but not because He really had to do it. We did not deserve to be looked at us with His grace and goodness, but yet, He chose us, and blessed us. Now, not only did he choose us by giving us the privilege of participating in all the riches that his kingdom offers, he also chose us to be trained and trained for those prophecies in which he has involved us as his elect, not only as long as we remain in this world, But for those prophecies that await us from the moment we meet Jesus in the clouds (see Thessalonians 4:17).
You’re a child… You are a soldier, because a child of God is aware not only of his salvation but of his responsibility as a brave warrior who knows that day by day he has battles to face. A child of God recognizes that he is in the territory of the enemy, because it is satan who reigns in this world; however, he knows that as long as his spirit is aligned to his true kingdom, to which he belongs, to that of God, You can overcome any battle you face, and for each battle you face you will win crowns which will be given as a gift to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords “Christ Jesus” when it comes time to appear before your court.
Prayer:
Father How good and wonderful your plans are. And yet you chose us with our defects and virtues for your immense love, and today we are your children; You saved us and gave us eternal life, now the longing of your heart is that we may be in communion and one with you, help us to win our battles and be able to carry crowns of victory before your presence, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
