Cuando llegamos a los pies de Jesús, nos damos cuenta que cuando caminábamos sin el, siempre sentiamos que nos faltaba algo; buscando ese algo, nos metimos en el valle de sombra y muerte, no teniamos un pastor que nos guiará, nos perdimos en la oscuridad, el mundo nos empezó a lastimar, buscando suplantar el amor del Padre, creiamos que nuestro futuro estaba en nuestras manos, todo esto nos trajo desesperación y conflicto a nuestro corazón.
“Me sacó del foso de desesperación, del lodo y del fango. Puso mis pies sobre suelo firme y a medida que yo caminaba, me estabilizó.”
Salmos 40:2 NTV
Primero aceptamos a Jesús, que viene siendo el primer acto de fe de nuestras vidas; segundo, nos dicen que Dios es la luz del mundo y que él es nuestro Padre; en ese momento nos damos cuenta que hemos llegado siendo unos bebés, hundidos en desesperanza, temores, sin ni siquiera saber caminar, estuvimos corriendo peligro intentando levantarnos por nosotros mismos, nos sentíamos cansados, abatidos y caídos.
Jesús nos saco de aquellos hoyos con cuerdas de amor, nos enseñó a caminar como aquel padre paciente y amoroso, nos alineó al mejor camino, recordándonos siempre que tenemos un llamado y un propósito con el, siempre somos su primera opción, haciéndonos notar que nunca más estaremos en peligro porque hemos sido salvados, gracias a su sacrificio en la cruz.
Y solo mira hacia atrás para darte cuenta de donde te sacó el Señor.
Oración:
Amado Padre, gracias por ser la luz de mi vida y rescatar mi alma del valle de sombra y muerte, en que me encontraba, sigue iluminando mi caminar para no caer presa en la oscuridad, tu eres mi protector y guardian; mi vida es tuya por siempre, cumple tu propósito en mi, en el nombre de Jesús, ¡Amén!
In Danger
When we got to Jesus’ feet, we realize that when we walked without Him. We always felt that something was missing. We were looking for that something, and as we entered the valley of shadow and death, we did not have a shepherd to guide us. We lost ourselves in darkness, and the world began to hurt us, as we sought to supplant the love of the Father. We believed that our future was in our hands, and this only brought despair and conflict to our hearts.
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.”
Psalm 40:2 NIV
First we accept Jesus, who is the first act of faith in our lives. Second, they tell us that God is the light of the world and that He is our Father. At that time, we realized that we arrived as babies, sunken in despair, fears, without even knowing how to walk. We were in danger trying to get up for ourselves, we felt tired, downcast and fallen.
Jesus brought us out of those holes with strings of love, taught us to walk like that patient and loving father, and aligned us to the best way, reminding us always that we have a call and a purpose with him. We are always his first choice, making us notice that we will never be in danger again because we have been saved, thanks to his sacrifice on the cross.
And just look back to realize where the Lord took you from.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for being the light of my life and rescuing my soul from the valley of shadow and death, in which I was in. Keep illuminating my walk so that I do not fall prey to the darkness, you are my protector and guardian; My life is yours forever, fulfill your purpose in me, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
