La paz de Dios gobierne en vuestros corazones. COLOSENSES 3:15
Quizás haya oído a personas que afirman «no tener paz», cuando hablan de una decisión particular. Se refieren al hecho de que cuando alguien está fuera de la voluntad de Dios o actuando contra Él, esa persona sentirá fricción espiritual. Pero si se halla en el centro de la voluntad de Dios, se sentirá en armonía con Él.
La mayoría de nosotros podemos señalar aspectos de nuestras vidas que nos causan tensión nerviosa, infelicidad y confusión. Pero independiente de la situación, se nos ha prometido que podemos hallar tranquilidad en Cristo (Filipenses 4:6–7). Sin embargo, la paz sobrenatural que Jesús nos ofrece se basa en nuestro acuerdo con Él. Debemos estar dispuestos a hacer lo que el Señor declara en su Palabra.
Cuando usted somete sus decisiones diarias a Jesús, no solo está en armonía con el Espíritu Santo, sino que también se halla resguardado dentro de la protección de Dios, iluminado con su sabiduría y fortalecido por sus fuerzas. La paz que experimenta puede ser evidencia de estar caminando realmente en la voluntad de Dios. Así que pida que la paz del Señor caracterice su vida, permitiéndole a Él que gobierne su corazón. Jesús será su garantía y seguridad a pesar de las circunstancias que enfrente.
Oración:
Jesús, conoces las áreas de fricción en mi vida. Gobierna mi corazón y enséñame a tener tu paz. Amén.
SEEKING THE PEACE
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. COLOSSIANS 3:15
Perhaps you’ve heard people say, “I don’t have peace” when speaking about a particular decision. They are referring to the fact that when you are either outside God’s will or working against Him, you’ll feel spiritual friction. But when you’re in the center of God’s will, you will feel harmony with Him.
Most of us can point to areas of our lives that cause us stress, unhappiness, and turmoil. But regardless of the situation, we are promised that we can find tranquility in Christ (Philippians 4:6–7). However, the supernatural peace Jesus offers us rests on our agreement with Him. We must be willing to do as He says in His Word.
When you submit your daily choices to Jesus, you are not only in harmony with His Holy Spirit but are safeguarded within His protection, enlightened with His wisdom, and empowered by His strength. The peace you experience can be evidence that you are, indeed, walking in His will. So invite His peace to characterize your life by allowing Him to rule your heart. Jesus will be your assurance and security regardless of the circumstances you face.
Prayer:
Jesus, You know the areas of friction in my life. Rule my heart and teach me how to have Your peace. Amen.
