Hoy pongo al cielo y a la tierra por testigos contra ti, de que te he dado a elegir entre la vida y la muerte, entre la bendición y la maldición. Elige, pues, la vida, para que vivan tú y tus descendientes. (Deuteronomio 30:19)
El permitir que nuestras emociones dirijan nuestras decisiones definitivamente nos impedirá tener una vida llena de paz y gozo. Las decisiones emocionales casi siempre causan confusión.
La ley del reino de Dios es que cosechamos lo que sembramos (ver Gálatas 6:7). Si elegimos sembrar disciplina y elecciones correctas, cosecharemos una vida de gozo y satisfacciones. Sin embargo, si sembramos opciones basadas únicamente en cómo nos sentimos, cosecharemos una vida de frustración, arrepentimiento y tristeza.
Dios pone ante cada persona la vida y la muerte, y nos instruye a elegir la vida. Dado que todos tenemos el privilegio del libre albedrío, debemos asumir la responsabilidad de nuestras vidas y ya no culpar a las circunstancias y a otras personas por las decisiones que tomamos. Por el contrario, podemos pedirle a Dios que nos dé la disciplina y la sabiduría para tomar las decisiones correctas cada día.
Pensamiento del día
No podemos ser guiados por nuestras emociones y ser guiados por el Espíritu Santo. Tenemos que elegir cuál seguir.

Right Choices
I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants. (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Allowing our emotions to lead our decisions will definitely prevent us from having a life filled with peace and joy. Emotional decisions almost always cause turmoil.
The law of God’s kingdom is that we reap what we sow (see Galatians 6:7). If we choose to sow discipline and right choices, we will reap a life of joy and contentment. However, if we sow choices based solely on how we feel, we will reap a life of frustration, regret, and sadness.
God sets before every person life and death, and He instructs us to choose life. Since we all have the privilege of free will, we must take responsibility for our lives and no longer blame circumstances and other people for the choices we make. Instead, we can ask God to give us the discipline and wisdom to make right choices each day.
Today’s Thought
We can’t be led by our emotions and be led by the Holy Spirit. We have to make a choice which one to follow.
