Está dentro de la naturaleza humana querer preparar y crear defensas contra toda contingencia. Queremos sentirnos protegidos. No obstante, nunca podemos anticipar por completo las arremetidas que enfrentaremos, sea en este mundo caído o espiritualmente. Nuestra única defensa completa está en Cristo. Él es el único Defensor que siempre sale victorioso contra el mal.
Es probable que hoy haya algún problema específico en nuestro corazón que no sepamos cómo superar o tratar, como seguridad económica futura, qué hacer si alguien importante se va de nuestro lado, o incluso la estabilidad de la nación. Es prudente pensar con anticipación, pero no podemos planificarlo todo. Lo que sí podemos y debemos hacer es buscar la sabiduría de Aquel que tiene todo bajo control y obedecerle; porque cuando lo hacemos, el Señor nos prepara para lo que no podemos ver, nos protege si nos sentimos indefensos y nos provee cuando nuestros recursos se agotan.
Por tanto, el primer nivel de defensa que usted tiene es buscar a Dios y ser sensible a su guía. Camine en el centro de la voluntad divina porque ese es siempre el lugar más seguro y victorioso donde puede estar.

Jesús, gracias porque pase lo que pase estoy más seguro en el centro de tu voluntad. Amén.

It is human nature to want to plan and create safeguards against all eventualities. We want to feel sheltered and protected. However, we can never fully anticipate the onslaughts we’ll face—either in this fallen world or spiritually. Our only complete defense is in Jesus. He is the only Defender against evil who will ever be truly victorious in every situation.
So there may be a specific problem on your heart today that you have no idea how to overcome or plan for—such as future financial security, what you will do if someone important is taken from you, or even the stability of the nation. It is wise to think ahead, but you cannot plan for everything. What you can and must do is seek the wisdom of the One who holds all things in His hand, and obey Him. Because when you do, the Lord prepares you for what you cannot see, carries you when you are helpless, and provides when you have no resources to draw from.
Your first line of defense, therefore, is to seek God and be sensitive to His guidance. Walk in the center of His will because that is always the safest and most victorious place to be.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You that—no matter what—I am safest in the center of Your will. Amen.
