Mateo 21:28-31
Pero ¿qué os parece? Un hombre tenía dos hijos, y acercándose al primero, le dijo: Hijo, ve hoy a trabajar en mi viña. Respondiendo él, dijo: No quiero; pero después, arrepentido, fue. Y acercándose al otro, le dijo de la misma manera; y respondiendo él, dijo: Sí, señor, voy. Y no fue. ¿Cuál de los dos hizo la voluntad de su padre? Dijeron ellos: El primero. Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que los publicanos y las rameras van delante de vosotros al reino de Dios.
Como toda familia también en la familia de Dios hay hijos desobedientes. Los primeros actúan de acuerdo a la voluntad de su Padre, los segundos encubren con sus palabras su falsedad y terminan por vivir en sentido contrario a la voluntad del Padre. Dios como Padre, tiene un propósito para la vida de sus hijos y espera que la acatemos con gozo en nuestro corazón. Para que nuestras palabras hagan eco a las del salmista:
Salmo 143:10
“Enséñame a hacer tu voluntad, porque tú eres mi Dios”
Nunca es tarde para cambiar y tomar una buena decisión.
Arrepentimiento es dejar el pecado o cesar de pecar, es redimirse de cualquier acción mala o dañina. Arrepentirse es cambiar de opinión o dejar de lado algún compromiso por su procedencia, es no desviarse del buen caminar.
El arrepentimiento es girar de una dirección a otra, es sentirse mal y cambiar.
Los publicanos y las rameras eran los grupos humanos despreciados entre los judíos. Eran el ejemplo del hombre pecador. A ellos recurre Jesús para ejemplificar la naturaleza de su reino y lo que espera Dios de sus hijos. La voluntad de Dios es que creamos como lo hicieron los publicanos y las rameras. Como Abraham que por fe salió de su lugar sin saber a dónde iba (Hebreos 11:8) y su fe se mostro en sus obras al ofrecer a Isaac como holocausto al Señor (Santiago 2:22) La fe no es una realidad distinta a las obras. La Biblia no acepta la distinción entre interior y exterior. Creer y vivir son una misma realidad. Doctrina y práctica no pueden estar separadas. Porque de la abundancia del corazón habla la boca.
La voluntad de Dios es que trasformemos nuestra actitud y que dejando a un lado las palabras que encubren y la dureza de nuestro corazón, creamos y nos arrepintamos de nuestra falsedad.
Los hijos de la parábola entendieron la voluntad y la orden de su Padre; sin embargo, hay quienes luchan por entender cuál es la voluntad de Dios para su vida. El Apóstol Pablo nos exhorta a poner toda nuestra disposición para que sepamos a ciencia cierta que quiere Dios de nosotros (Efesios 5:17)
La voluntad de Dios es que obedezcamos, que creamos en el Hijo y que cambiemos nuestra actitud.

▪︎Estas luchando contigo mismo y aunque algunas veces deseas cambiar, no lo has logrado?
▪︎Deseas cambiar pero vuelves a caer en la misma situación?
▪︎Estas seguro que tener un corazón arrepentido?
Oración:
Padre Amado, tu tienes un destino eterno para nosotros tu pueblo y anhelas nuestro corazón en obediencia hacia ti; por eso hoy nos rendimos a tus pies; arrepentidos por todos nuestros pecados y clamamos a ti amado Espíritu de Dios para que nos ayudes hacer genuinos, verdaderos, obedientes, valientes y activados en fe, para llevar acabo tu propósito en cada uno de nosotros en el nombre de Jesús , Amén!
The True Repentance
Matthew 21: 28-31
But what do you think? A man had two sons, and approaching the first one, he said: Son, go work in my vineyard today. Answering him, he said: I don’t want to; but later, sorry, he went. And approaching the other, he said the same way; and answering he said: Yes, sir, I am going. And it was not. Which of the two did his father’s will? They said: The first. Jesus said to them: Truly I tell you, tax collectors and harlots go before you into the kingdom of God.
Like every family, there are also disobedient children in the family of God. The former act according to the will of their Father, the latter cover up their falsehood with their words and end up living contrary to the Father’s will. God as Father has a purpose for the lives of his children and expects us to follow it with joy in our hearts. So that our words echo those of the psalmist:
Psalm 143: 10
“Teach me to do your will, because you are my God”
It is never too late to change and make a good decision.
Repentance is leaving sin or ceasing to sin, it is redeeming oneself from any bad or harmful action. To repent is to change your mind or set aside a commitment due to your origin, it is not to deviate from the good walk.
Repentance is turning from one direction to another, it is feeling bad and changing.
Publicans and harlots were the despised human groups among the Jews. They were the example of sinful man. Jesus turns to them to exemplify the nature of his kingdom and what God expects of his children. God’s will is that we believe as the publicans and harlots did. Like Abraham who by faith left his place without knowing where he was going (Hebrews 11: 8) and his faith was shown in his works by offering Isaac as a burnt offering to the Lord (James 2:22). Faith is not a reality other than the works. The Bible does not accept the distinction between interior and exterior. Believing and living are the same reality. Doctrine and practice cannot be separated. Because of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
God’s will is that we transform our attitude and that leaving aside the words that cover up and the hardness of our hearts, we believe and repent of our falsehood.
The children of the parable understood the will and order of their Father; however, there are those who struggle to understand what God’s will is for their life. The Apostle Paul exhorts us to make every effort to know for sure what God wants from us (Ephesians 5:17)
God’s will is that we obey, that we believe in the Son, and that we change our attitude.

▪︎Do you want to change but you fall back into the same situation?
▪ Are you sure you have a repentant heart?
Prayer:
Beloved Father, You have an eternal destiny for us, Your people, and You long for our hearts in obedience to You; that is why today we surrender at Your feet; We are sorry for all our sins and we cry out to You, beloved Spirit of God, to help us become genuine, true, obedient, courageous and activated in faith, to carry out Your purpose in each one of us in the name of Jesus, Amen!
