Que te metan en prisión por tu fe es una de las formas de persecución más dura a las que se pueden enfrentar los creyentes. Vale la pena destacar que, a pesar de los muros que los rodeaban, Pablo y Silas siguieron alabando a Dios con oraciones y canciones. Y seguramente lo hacían con tanta fuerza que los demás prisioneros podían oírlos. Pablo y Silas fueron capaces de ser buenos testimonios en las circunstancias más duras.
Somos una luz para el mundo, y Dios nos utiliza de muchas formas distintas. Quizá últimamente has pasado por situaciones difíciles o a lo mejor las cosas te van muy, pero que muy bien. Sea como sea, los demás se fijan en ti. ¿Qué prisioneros tienes alrededor que necesitan ser liberados por el amor de Cristo? ¿Quién necesita oír tus oraciones y canciones? ¿Puedes confiar en que Dios es bueno, estés en el punto en el que estés en tu vida ahora mismo? Él te dará fuerza para alabarle en todo momento.
Oración:
Dios Padre, gracias porque estás conmigo en todas las circunstancias. Ayúdame a recordar que lo que digo y lo que hago puede animar a otros a mi alrededor. Dame valentía para alabarte y ser testigo a los demás.

Being thrown into prison for your faith is one of the hardest forms of persecution believers can face. It is worth noticing that despite the walls around them, Paul and Silas continued to praise God with praying and singing. It must have been loud enough for the other prisoners to hear them. Paul and Silas were able to be a witness in the most severe of circumstances.
We are a light to the world and God uses us in many different ways. Perhaps you have had it tough lately, or maybe things are going very well. Either way, people are listening. Who are the prisoners around you that need to be set free by the love of Christ? Who needs to hear your prayers and singing? Can you trust that God is good wherever you are in life right now? He will give you strength to praise him at all times.
Prayer:
Father God, thank you that you are with me in all circumstances. Help me to remember that what I say and do can encourage others around me. Give me boldness to praise you as a witness to others.
