1 Samuel 17:34-35
David respondió a Saúl: Tu siervo era pastor de las ovejas de su padre; y cuando venía un león, o un oso, y tomaba algún cordero de la manada, salía yo tras él, y lo hería, y lo libraba de su boca; y si se levantaba contra mí, yo le echaba mano de la quijada, y lo hería y lo mataba.
Cual es la situación que te está agobiando hoy?. Crees que no tiene sentido lo que estás viviendo?.Miras a tu alrededor y todos están con sus vidas aparentemente bien y felices pero tu no.
Hubo un hombre en la biblia que ha sido llamado uno de los más grandes guerreros del pueblo de Israel y llegó a ser Rey de su pueblo, aunque nadie hubiera imaginado que este jovencito lograria llegar a esta posición.
Debido que no tenia un lugar de privilegio dentro de su familia y en sus primeros años de vida, vivió circunstancias muy complejas y difíciles.
▪︎En cuanto a su concepción algo no estaba del todo bien, por lo que nos dice David en el Salmo 51:5
He aquí, en maldad he sido formado, Y en pecado me concibió mi madre.
▪︎Fue despreciado por sus propios hermanos.
Salmos 69:8
Extraño he sido para mis hermanos, Y desconocido para los hijos de mi madre.
▪︎EL profeta Samuel fue enviado por Dios para ungir a uno de los hijos de Isaí, padre de David como el próximo rey de Israel e Isaí le dice al Profeta Samuel que tiene 7 hijos, no incluye a David que era el octavo y el menor de todos; inclusive lo tenia cuidando las ovejas, el cual era un trabajo peligroso, ya que debía luchar contra leones 🦁 y osos 🐻. Isaí debía haber enviado a cuidar las ovejas a uno de sus hijos mayores, pero ¿porque envia a David a cuidar las ovejas?
David creció en medio de circunstancias difíciles pero la llegada de el Profeta Samuel hizo que su vida cambiará radicalmente.
A pesar de los desprecios de sus hermanos, y aún no ser considerado como hijo por su padre, Dios lo escogió para ser rey de Israel.
Puede ser que tu has sido dejado al margen, tus circunstancias no son nada favorables, pero no importa tu condición o lo que piensen los demás de ti, Dios no mira lo que el hombre ve, sino que el mira tu corazón ❤.
1 Samuel 16;7
Y Jehová respondió a Samuel: No mires a su parecer, ni a lo grande de su estatura, porque yo lo desecho; porque Jehová no mira lo que mira el hombre; pues el hombre mira lo que está delante de sus ojos, pero Jehová mira el corazón.
A David el hecho de tener que cuidar las ovejas de su padre, luchando contra leones🦁 y osos 🐻 ; lo entreno para ser un excelente guerrero.
Al igual que David, todo lo que tu has vivido, tus luchas, sacrificios, fracasos y derrotas se convertirán en tus logros y victorias de tu futuro.
Oración:
Dios de Victorias, luchas y pruebas! hemos vivido muchas veces rechazos y menosprecios pero tu has estado siempre con nosotros, todo aquello nos entrenó para ahora ver la batalla ganada. Tu Padre, has declarado que tu no te fijas en nuestra apariencia, si no en nuestro corazón; por eso nos levantanos cada vez más para ser esos guerreros de tu Reino, valientes, pero con un corazón humilde lleno de tu amor; con la capacidad de matar osos y leones, que quieren destruir nuestras vidas y nuestras familias y es en tu nombre que obtenemos la victoria. En el nombre de Jesús, Amen!
The Beginning of a Warrior.
1 Samuel 17: 34-35
David answered Saul: Your servant was shepherd of the sheep of his father; and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb from the herd, I would go out after him, and beat him, and free him from his mouth; and if he rose up against me, I would lay hold of his jaw, and wound and kill him.
What is the situation that is overwhelming you today? Do you think what you are living does not make sense? You look around you and everyone is with their lives apparently good and happy but you are not.
There was a man in the bible who has been called one of the greatest warriors of the people of Israel and became King of his people, although no one would have imagined that this young man would achieve this position.
Because he did not have a privileged place within his family and in the first years of his life, he experienced very complex and difficult circumstances.
▪︎ Regarding the conception of him, some of him was not quite right, from what David tells us in Psalm 51: 5
Behold, I was brought up in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.
▪︎He was despised by his own brothers.
Psalm 69: 8
I have been strange to my brothers, And unknown to my mother’s children.
▪︎The prophet Samuel was sent by God to anoint one of the sons of Jesse, David’s father as the next king of Israel and Jesse tells the Prophet Samuel that he has 7 sons, it does not include David who was the eighth and the youngest of all; He even had him take care of the sheep, which was a dangerous job, since he had to fight against lions 🦁 and bears 🐻. Jesse should have sent one of his older sons to tend the sheep, but why did he send David to tend the sheep?
David grew up in the midst of difficult circumstances but the arrival of the Prophet Samuel made his life change radically.
Despite the scorn of his brothers, and still not being considered a son by his father, God chose him to be king of Israel.
It may be that you have been left out, your circumstances are not at all favorable, but it does not matter your condition or what others think of you, God does not look at what man sees, but he looks at your heart ❤.
1 Samuel 16; 7
And the Lord said to Samuel: Do not look at his appearance, nor at his great stature, for I am rejecting him; for Jehovah does not look at what man looks at; for man looks at what is before his eyes, but the Lord looks at the heart.
To David the fact of having to take care of his father’s sheep, fighting against lions🦁 and bears 🐻; he trained him to be an excellent warrior.
Like David, everything you have experienced, your struggles, sacrifices, failures and defeats will become your achievements and victories in your future.
Prayer:
God of Victories, Struggles and Trials! we have experienced rejection and contempt many times but you have always been with us, all that trained us to now see the battle won. Your Father, you have declared that you do not notice our appearance, if not our heart; That is why we rise more and more to be those warriors of your Kingdom, brave, but with a humble heart full of your love; with the ability to kill bears and lions, who want to destroy our lives and our families and it is in your name that we gain victory. In the name of Jesus, amen!
