Yo sé que tú amas la verdad en lo íntimo; en lo secreto me has enseñado sabiduría. (Salmos 51:6)
La Palabra de Dios es verdad y, cuando la amamos y la obedecemos, somos liberados de las ataduras que nos han mantenido cautivos. Nunca tenga miedo de la verdad. Ella trae luz a su vida y disipa la oscuridad.
Todo lo que escondemos tiene autoridad sobre nosotros, pero en el momento en que lo sacamos a la luz, queda expuesto y pierde su poder. Inmediatamente sentimos que se ha levantado una gran carga y que nuestras vidas mejoran. Este es el poder liberador de vivir en la verdad.
El Espíritu Santo se nos da después de que recibimos a Jesús como nuestro Salvador para que pueda enseñarnos y revelarnos la verdad consistentemente. Es un proceso continuo en nuestras vidas y uno que puede y debe ser emocionante.

The Healing Power of Truth
Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, and in the hidden part [of my heart] You will make me know wisdom. (Psalm 51:6)
God’s Word is truth, and when we love it and obey it, we are set free from bondages that have held us captive. Don’t ever be afraid of truth. It brings light into your life and dispels darkness.
Anything we hide has authority over us, but the moment we bring it out into the light, it is exposed and loses its power. We instantly feel that a huge burden has lifted, and our lives are made better. This is the freeing power of living in truth.
The Holy Spirit is given to us after we receive Jesus as our Savior, so He can consistently teach us and reveal truth to us. It is an ongoing process in our lives and one that can and should be exciting.
