Jeremías 23:24
¿Se ocultará alguno, dice Jehová, en escondrijos que yo no lo vea? ¿No lleno yo, dice Jehová, el cielo y la tierra?
El Espíritu Santo nos lleva a la verdad. Tú estas ahora lleno en tu espíritu por Él, porque recibiste a Jesús en tu corazón, El Espíritu Santo es la mente de Dios, disponible para ti en todo momento porque Él vive dentro de ti cuando eliges seguir a Jesús. Él es la voz que llena tu cabeza con los pensamientos de Dios. Íntimo. Cercano. Personal.
El Espíritu Santo pareciera para muchos que es algo mágico, tal vez incluso un poco fantasmagórico. Porque Él está en todas partes. Te está viendo leer esto ahora mismo. Raro, ¿no? El aire a tu alrededor está lleno del ruido invisible de la voz de Dios, y como una radio, fuiste creado para escucharlo y transmitir sus pensamientos a las personas a través de tus propias palabras y acciones.
La mayoría de las personas no se dan cuenta, pero Dios quiere hablarte. ¿Captaste eso? Él quiere hablar contigo, y te diseñó para escuchar Su voz. Él no suele hablar en voz alta, pero Su voz viene desde tu interior. Se necesita práctica para aprender a diferenciar tus propios pensamientos de Su voz, y diferentes personas lo escuchan de diferentes maneras.
A veces, el Espíritu Santo suena como pensamientos en tu cabeza. A veces, Él te da una imagen mental. Otras veces, Él te da un sueño que se “siente” diferente. La mayoría de las veces, Él habla iluminando partes de la Biblia, recordándote un versículo que has leído y ayudándote a entenderlo de una nueva forma.
Cuando Jesús prometió que nunca nos dejaría solos, el Espíritu Santo fue el cumplimiento de esa promesa. Cuando te conviertes en un seguidor de Cristo, el Espíritu Santo se mueve. Nos convertimos en Su casa. Entonces, cuando Él habla, Su voz viene de tu interior. ¿Y si todo este tiempo has estado escuchando su voz sin reconocerla?
Entonces, cuando conduces por la vida y tu viaje te lleva a un lugar oscuro donde te sientes solo y abandonado, debes saber que nunca estás realmente solo. Incluso cuando ya nada parece funcionar, el Espíritu Santo está allí contigo. Con solo un pensamiento, Él puede hablar vida, esperanza, fortaleza, alegría y ánimo para ti y sobre ti. Aún mejor, si aprendes a escuchar con atención, Él puede ayudarte a evitar algunos de esos lugares oscuros.
Es imposible ocultarte de Él, ya que Él mora en ti.
Oración:
Poderoso Espíritu Santo, tu que escudriñas el corazón del Padre y traes revelación a nuestras vidas, ayúdanos a no caer en lugares de oscuridad y pecado, abre nuestros oídos para identificar tu dulce voz, tu consejo que nos advierte y nos edifica, llévanos de tu mano, abre nuestros ojos para ver la voluntad del Padre y no desfallecer jamás, dependemos de ti nuestro fiel amigo y ayudador, tú eres nuestro gran maestro y dependemos de tu dirección, en el nombre de Jesús. ¡Amén!
He dwells in you
Jeremiah 23:24
‘Will any,’ says Jehovah, ‘hide in hiding that I do not see? Do I not fill,’ says Jehovah, ‘heaven and earth?’
The Holy Spirit leads us to truth. You are now filled in your spirit by Him, because you received Jesus into your heart, the Holy Spirit is the mind of God, available to you at all times because He lives within you when you choose to follow Jesus. He is the voice that fills your head with the thoughts of God. Intimate. Nearby. Personnel.
The Holy Spirit seems to many to be something magical, perhaps even a little phantasmagorical. Because He is everywhere. He’s seeing you read this right now. Weird, isn’t it? The air around you is filled with the invisible noise of God’s voice, and like a radio, you were created to listen to it and transmit your thoughts to people through your own words and actions.
Most people don’t realize it, but God wants to talk to you. Did you catch that? He wants to talk to you, and he designed you to hear his voice. He doesn’t usually speak aloud, but his voice comes from within you. Practice is needed to learn how to differentiate your own thoughts from your voice, and different people listen to it in different ways.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit sounds like thoughts in your head. Sometimes, he gives you a mental image. Other times, he gives you a dream that “feels” different. Most of the time, He speaks illuminating parts of the Bible, reminding you of a verse you have read and helping you understand it in a new way.
When Jesus promised that He would never leave us alone, the Holy Spirit was the fulfillment of that promise. When you become a follower of Christ, the Holy Spirit moves. We become your home. Then, when He speaks, His voice comes from within you. What if all this time you’ve been listening to his voice without recognizing it?
So when you drive through life and your journey takes you to a dark place where you feel alone and abandoned, you must know you’re never really alone. Even when nothing seems to work anymore, the Holy Spirit is there with you. With just one thought, He can speak life, hope, strength, joy and encouragement to you and about you. Even better, if you learn to listen carefully, he can help you avoid some of those dark places.
It’s impossible to hide from him, because he dwells in you.
Prayer:
Mighty Holy Spirit, you who search the heart of the Father and bring revelation into our lives, help us not to fall into places of darkness and sin, open our ears to identify your sweet voice, your counsel that warns us and builds us, take us by your hand. Open our eyes to see the will of the Father and never to perish, we depend on you our faithful friend and helper, you are our great teacher and we depend on your leadership, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
