Pues todas las promesas de Dios se cumplieron en Cristo con un resonante «¡sí!», y por medio de Cristo, nuestro «amén» (que significa «sí») se eleva a Dios para su gloria. 2 CORINTIOS 1:20 (NTV)
Nos es muy fácil poner en entredicho la fidelidad de Dios. A pesar de habérnosla demostrado una y otra vez a lo largo de la historia, seguimos preguntándonos si esta vez acudirá a nuestro rescate.
Pero la realidad es que, llueva o haga sol, cantes con alegría o llores a raudales, él sigue siendo fiel. Da igual el tiempo que esperes, él permanece. Él nunca te dará la espalda y nunca olvidará las promesas que te ha hecho. Él te ve. Él te ve en las noches en las que, a pesar de estar agotada y a punto de rendirte, decides inclinar la cabeza y bendecir su nombre. Él te ve cuando estás al borde de un ataque de nervios y lloras, orando con desesperación. Él te ve y te comprende.
Oración:
Señor, dame la fuerza para esperar en tus promesas y para nunca perder la fe en tu fidelidad.
He Is Faithful
All of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” 2 CORINTHIANS 1:20
The faithfulness of God is something we so easily find ourselves questioning. Though he has proven himself time and time again throughout history, we still wonder whether or not he will come through for us.
But the reality is that whether the sun is shining or the rain is pouring, whether your song comes easily or your tears pour freely, he continues to be faithful. No matter how long you wait, he remains. He will never turn his back on you, and he will never forget the promises he has made. He sees you. He sees you on the nights when you’re weary and ready to give up, but instead you bow your head and bless his name. He sees you when you’re at the end of yourself and you cry out to him in desperation. He sees and he understands.
Prayer:
Lord, give me the strength to wait on your promises and to never lose faith in your faithfulness.
