2 Samuel 3:1
Hubo larga guerra entre la casa de Saúl y la casa de David; pero David se iba fortaleciendo, y la casa de Saúl se iba debilitando.
PUEDE QUE NO le guste esta larga guerra. Yo no le culpo. Quién podría? Queremos que termine rápidamente. Pero algunas guerras no terminan rápidamente. Si usted está luchando contra un enemigo obstinado que se niega a rendirse, entonces sepa que sólo va a luchar y luchar. Hay demonios que luchan y luchan por aferrarse. Pero le tengo buenas noticias. Si se mantiene ejerciendo resistencia ante el enemigo, se hará más y más fuerte, y él se hará más y más débil. Lo que los demonios no pueden manejar es una guerra larga. Ellos quieren que usted les golpee y se dé por vencido. Pero usted tiene la mentalidad de que seguirá en la oración, en el ayuno y presionando a este demonio, ¡ya que es sólo cuestión de tiempo antes de que se quebrante!
Cuando empiece a orar por la liberación de algunos espíritus demoníacos, ellos le dirán: “Nosotros no nos vamos. No nos puede cancelar o echar fuera. Usted no tiene poder. Vamos a quedarnos aquí. Vamos a destruir. Usted nos pertenece. Esta es nuestra casa”. Usted sólo dice: “Está bien. Sólo sigue hablando. Voy a orar, hablar en lenguas, ayunar, reprender al diablo, aplicar la sangre, citar escrituras . . . ”. Después de un tiempo, esos mismos demonios difíciles dirán: “¿Nos dejas en paz? ¿Nos darías un descanso? Nos sacas de quicio”. Siempre podrá darse cuenta cuándo los demonios están comenzando a debilitarse, ya que se enojan y empiezan a amenazar. Ellos dirán: “Vamos a matarte”. No tenga miedo. Eso se llama pánico. Cuando usted comienza a ver al diablo entrar en pánico, usted sabe que necesita seguir poniendo presión hasta que salga fuera de su vida. Simplemente porque es una larga guerra no significa que usted está perdiendo. La gente me pregunta por qué Dios permitiría que ciertas cosas se queden en nuestra vida durante largos períodos de tiempo. Dios lo permite, porque Él quiere enseñarnos cómo luchar. Se aprende sobre la fe y la persistencia en una larga guerra. Usted necesita eso como hijo de Dios. Tiene que aprender a pararse firme en la fe al enfrentar situaciones imposibles. Usted no mira cómo se ven las cosas. Tiene que creer en Dios. Cuando Dios envió a los israelitas a la tierra para expulsar a los enemigos, no los sacaron a todos ellos en un año. Dios no les permitió sacar a todos sus enemigos de la tierra en un año. El versículo dos de Jueces 3 dice que Dios dejó algunas de las naciones de Canaán para enseñarle a Israel a cómo luchar, cómo hacer guerra. Muchos de los que habían salido de Egipto no sabían nada sobre guerra. A veces, mientras usted lucha contra las tinieblas, el Señor le está enseñando cómo hacer guerra, cómo usar su fe, cómo usar la Palabra, cómo usar la oración, y la manera de pararse firme. Él quiere enseñarle a pelear para que no sea un cobarde en el ejército del Señor. Los más grandes guerreros en el reino de Dios son aquellas personas que han tenido que librar batallas por sí mismos y superar algunas cosas. Cuando usted supera esas cosas, deja de ser una teoría de la Biblia. Usted sabe que la victoria es real. Ya sabe cómo obtener la victoria. Eso le da mucha más capacidad de luchar por los demás, hacer guerra por otras personas, utilizar su fe, y desarrollar su fuerza en el Señor. A veces, sus victorias personales le preparan para poder ayudar a alguien más a conseguir la victoria. A un gran número de creyentes no les gusta la larga guerra. Se dan por vencidos. Con esto es lo que el enemigo está contando. Él espera que el pueblo de Dios se canse y renuncie. Lo que él quiere que sintamos es que no podemos hacerlo, que no podemos vencerlo, y que no vamos a ganar. Él quiere engañarnos con que no somos lo suficientemente fuertes. Pero yo le digo, no se rinda. No se entregue a morir. Si Dios es por usted, ¿quién contra usted (Ro. 8:31)? Dios está de su lado. Puede que tenga que luchar por lo que es suyo, y puede tomar algún tiempo. Pero usted, cuando ora y ayuna y se compromete a ver la victoria, no importa cuánto tiempo tome, es sólo cuestión de tiempo hasta que el enemigo se quebrante, y usted tendrá la victoria.

Dios de Victorias! Nos has hecho mas que vencedores por aquel que pago por nosotros en la cruz, en este tiempo de consagración hacia ti, revistenos de fuerza y fortaleza para vencer a nuestros enemigos y hacernos cada vez mas fuertes y valientes ante la adversidad, en el nombre de Jesús, Amen!
THE FAST THAT INCREASES ITS STRENGTH IN THE LONG WAR
2 Samuel 3: 1
There was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David; But David was growing stronger, and the house of Saul was growing weak.
YOU MAY NOT like this long war. I don’t blame you. Who would? We want it to end quickly. But some wars don’t end quickly. If you are fighting a stubborn enemy that refuses to surrender, then know that you are only going to fight and fight. There are demons that fight and struggle to hold on. But I have good news for you. If you keep resisting the enemy, you will get stronger and stronger, and he will get weaker and weaker. What the demons cannot handle is a long war. They want to beat you down so you give up. But you have the mindset that you will keep praying, fasting and pressing this demon, as it is only a matter of time before he breaks down!
When you start praying for the deliverance of some demon spirits, they will tell you, “We are not leaving. You can’t cancel or kick us out. You have no power. Let’s stay here. We will destroy. You belong to us. This is our house”. You just say, “Okay. Just keep talking. I will pray, speak in tongues, fast, rebuke the devil, apply the blood, quote scriptures. . . ”. After a while, those same difficult demons will say, “Will you leave us alone? Would you give us a break? You drive us crazy ”. You can always tell when demons are starting to weaken as they get angry and start threatening. They will say, “We are going to kill you.” Do not be afraid. This is called panic. When you start to see the devil panic, you know that you need to keep putting pressure until he gets out of your life. Just because it is a long war does not mean that you are losing. People ask me why God would allow certain things to stay in our lives for long periods of time. God allows it, because He wants to teach us how to fight. You learn about faith and persistence in a long war. You need that as a child of God. You have to learn to stand firm in faith when facing impossible situations. You don’t look at how things look. You have to believe in God. When God sent the Israelites into the land to drive out the enemies, they didn’t drive them all out in one year. God did not allow them to remove all their enemies from the earth in one year. Verse two of Judges 3 says that God left some of the nations of Canaan to teach Israel how to fight, how to make war. Many of those who had left Egypt knew nothing about war. Sometimes, as you fight the darkness, the Lord is teaching you how to wage war, how to use your faith, how to use the Word, how to use prayer, and how to stand firm. He wants to teach you to fight so you won’t be a coward in the Lord’s army. The greatest warriors in the kingdom of God are those people who have had to fight battles on their own and overcome some things. When you get over those things, it is no longer a theory of the Bible. You know that victory is real. You already know how to win. That gives you much more ability to fight for others, make war for other people, use your faith, and develop your strength in the Lord. Sometimes your personal victories prepare you to help someone else achieve victory. Large numbers of believers do not like the long war. They give up. This is what the enemy is counting on. He expects God’s people to get tired and quit. What he wants us to feel is that we can’t do it, that we can’t beat him, and that we’re not going to win. He wants to deceive us that we are not strong enough. But I tell him, he don’t give up. Don’t give in to die. If God is for you, who can be against you (Rom. 8:31)? God is on your side. You may have to fight for what is yours, and it may take some time. But, when you pray and fast and commit to see victory, no matter how long it takes, it is only a matter of time until the enemy breaks down, and you will have victory.
Prayer:
God of Victories! You have made us more than conquerors for the one who paid for us on the cross, in this time of consecration to you, clothe us with strength and fortitude to defeat our enemies and make us stronger and more courageous in the face of adversity, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
