Este tiempo de Semana Santa
conmemoramos la resurrección de Cristo. Más allá de la tradición judía de la Pascua o de la Semana Santa. Esta semana nos evoca la más bella historia de amor jamás contada: aquella que llevó a Dios a dar la vida de su hijo único Jesús, a cambio de la nuestra.
Gracias a lo que Jesús hizo en la cruz podemos ahora tener una relación íntima con Dios.
Por eso cuando llegamos a los caminos del Señor, escuchamos que otras personas viven momentos con la manifestación tangible de la presencia del Señor, que cambia sus vidas, que trae gozo y libertad.
Y comenzamos a tener una búsqueda imparable de ella, comenzamos a orar, a repetir tal vez lo que otros dicen, lo buscamos solo en lugares donde sabemos que el Espíritu Santo se manifiesta con poder, cómo en la iglesia, en los grupos de conexión; pero nos olvidamos completamente de nuestro tiempo de intimidad con Él, es realmente lo más importante.
En mateo 6:8 la palabra nos dice “No seas como ellos, porque tu Padre sabe exactamente lo que necesitas, incluso antes de que se lo pidas.”
Dios no sólo quiere que lo adores en público, sino que también que crees una relación con Él, que sea tan íntima como para conocerle profundamente y agradar su corazón en cada instante.
Que no seamos como aquellos que solo lo adoran en público, sino en la intimidad. Aparta un lugar secreto en tu hogar para Él y buscando de su presencia el Espíritu Santo ministrará tu alma, te llenará de Él, le podrás pedir lo que él ya sabe que necesitas, pero con fe, de que él te escucha siempre, de que Él está recibiendo todo lo que tú le ofreces.
Y en estos tiempos que tú separas para el Espíritu Santo, tu corazón se empezará a aferrar más cada día a Él, convirtiéndose en lo único que más necesitas y anhelas♥️
Oración:
Amado Rey! Gracias por tu inmenso amor que te llevo a la cruz para darnos salvación y vida eterna, gracias porque hoy vives en nuestros corazones y tu presencia cada día nos anhela más, te pedimos que tu Santo Espíritu ministre nuestro ser y traiga más de ti en nosotros, que la fe crezca en nuestros corazones y podamos tener una relación verdadera y genuina, donde el fuego no se apagué si no que se acrescente más y más en el nombre de Jesús, ¡Amén!
The Longing for His Presence
This time of the Holy Week we commemorate the resurrection of Christ. Beyond the Jewish tradition of Passover or Holy Week, this week evokes the most beautiful love story ever told: the one that led God to give the life of his only son Jesus, in exchange for ours.
Thanks to what Jesus did on the cross we can now have an intimate relationship with God.
That is why when we come to the ways of the Lord, we hear that other people live moments with the tangible manifestation of the presence of the Lord, which changes their lives, which brings joy and freedom.
We then begin to have an unstoppable search for those things. We begin to pray, to repeat perhaps what others say and we seek it only in places where we know that the Holy Spirit manifests Himself with power, such as in the church or in the connecting groups;
Sometimes we completely forget about our time of intimacy with Him, it is really the most important thing.
In Matthew 6:8 the word tells us, “Do not be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need, even before you ask Him.”
God not only wants you to worship Him in public, but also wants you to create a relationship with Him that is so intimate, to know Him deeply and please His heart in every moment.
May we not be like those who only worship Him in public, but in privacy. Set aside a secret place in your home for Him and seeking from His presence the Holy Spirit. Let this minister your soul, fill you with Him, so you can ask Him for what He already knows you need, but with faith, He always listens to you. He is receiving everything you offer Him.
And in these times that you separate for the Holy Spirit, your heart will begin to cling more each day to Him, becoming the only thing you need and long for most.
Prayer:
Beloved King! Thank you for your immense love that led you to the cross to give us salvation and eternal life, thank you because today you live in our hearts and your presence every day longs for us more. We ask that your Holy Spirit ministers our being and brings more of You in us, that our faith grows in our hearts and we can have a true and genuine relationship, where that fire is not extinguished but grows more and more prominent in the name of Jesus, Amen!
