1 Corintios 13:7
“El amor nunca se da por vencido, jamás pierde la fe, siempre tiene esperanzas y se mantiene firme en toda circunstancia”.
El amor puede ser absolutamente agotador. Ya que el verdadero amor que hace realmente una diferencia en este mundo exprimirá todo de ti.
A veces sientes que ya no tienes más amor para dar. Quizás estés en un trabajo donde tienes relaciones conflictivas e intensas con personas, como la enseñanza, las ventas o el servicio al cliente, y regresas a casa y piensas, “Simplemente no puedo enfrentar otra necesidad, otro problema, otra angustia”. Así que te apagas.
O necesitas demostrar amor a otra persona que es demandante, actúa egoístamente y nunca devuelve tu amor. Y piensas para ti mismo, “Terminé. Ya no más”.
Aunque esa es una respuesta perfectamente natural y humana, no es el estándar del amor que Dios nos pide en la Biblia. La Biblia dice, “El amor nunca se da por vencido, jamás pierde la fe, siempre tiene esperanzas y se mantiene firme en toda circunstancia” 1 Corintios 13:7 . El amor nunca se da por vencido.
¿Cómo puedes tener esa clase de amor persistente hacia otra persona? Te recargas.
Recuerdo ver un espectáculo aéreo en televisión. Era tan impresionante ver como se enganchaban en el aire un jet y un avión tanque para reabastecerse. Nunca lo voy a olvidar.
Pero ¿puedes imaginarte a alguien volando en un jet diciendo “Yo no necesito recargar combustible? El jet se estrellará e incendiará. En viajes de larga distancia, un jet necesita reabastecerse.
Para dar el tipo de amor persistente que Dios quiere que des, debes recargar tu tanque de amor. Mira a la sociedad alrededor tuyo, está llena de restos de relaciones que se estrellaron y se incendiaron porque las personas no recargaron su amor.
¿Cómo recargas tu tanque de amor? Comienza por dejar que Dios te amé. “Nosotros amamos porque él nos amó primero”. (1 Juan 4:19 NIV). Cuando estés agotado, cansado e incapaz de imaginar de mostrar amor a alguien, recuerda que Dios te amó tanto que envió a su hijo a morir por ti.
Ahora, ese es combustible real. Eso es lo que te mantiene andando cuando quieres renunciar.
Recargate pensando en lo que hizo Jesús por ti y reposa en sus brazos; cuando menos piense habrá más amor de Dios en tu corazón.

Luego dijo Jesús: «Vengan a mí todos los que están cansados y llevan cargas pesadas, y yo les daré descanso.
Oración:
Mi Dios tu amor es inagotable e inigualable, tu amor nunca deja de ser, tu amor trasciende limites y fronteras, llegando a lo profundo del corazón, ven a abastecernos de amor puro nuestras vidas, ven alimenta nuestro ser de tu fe y esperanza ven y enciende esa llama que no se apagara jamas, hoy descansamos en ti en tus brazos mi Señor, en el nombre de Jesús, ¡Amén!
Love never gives up
1 Corinthians 13:7
“Love never gives up, never loses faith, always hopes and stands firm in all circumstances.”
Love can be absolutely exhausting. Since the true love that really makes a difference in this world will squeeze everything out of you.
Sometimes you feel like you have no more love to give. Maybe you’re in a job where you have intense, conflicting relationships with people, like teaching, sales, or customer service, and you come home and think, “I just can’t deal with another need, another problem, another heartache.” So you turn off.
Or you need to show love to another person who is demanding, acts selfishly and never returns your love. And you think to yourself, “I’m done. No more”.
Although that is a perfectly natural and human response, it is not the standard of love that God asks of us in the Bible. The Bible says, “Love never gives up, never loses faith, always hopes, and stands firm in all circumstances” 1 Corinthians 13:7. Love never gives up.
How can you have that kind of persistent love for another person? You recharge.
I remember seeing an air show on television. It was so impressive to see how a jet and a tank plane were hooked up in the air to refuel. I will never forget it.
But can you imagine someone flying on a jet saying “I don’t need to refuel? The jet will crash and catch fire. On long-haul trips, a jet needs to be refueled.
To give the kind of persistent love that God wants you to give, you must refill your love tank. Look at the society around you, it is full of remnants of relationships that crashed and caught fire because people did not recharge their love.
How do you refill your love tank? Start by letting God love you. “We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19 NIV). When you are exhausted, tired and unable to imagine showing love to someone, remember that God loved you so much that he sent his child to die for you.
Now, that’s real fuel. That’s what keeps you going when you want to quit.
Recharge yourself thinking about what Jesus did for you and rest in his arms; when you least think there will be more love of God in your heart.
Matthew 11:28
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Prayer:
My God, your love is inexhaustible and incomparable, your love never ceases to be, your love transcends limits and borders, reaching the depths of the heart, come and supply us with pure love in our lives, come feed our being with your faith and hope, come and light that flame that will never go out, today we rest in you in your arms my Lord, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
