Cada persona anhela ser especial, ser excepcional en algún área de su vida. Para los creyentes, ese anhelo se satisface descubriendo y desarrollando nuestros dones espirituales. Afortunadamente, Dios quiere que utilicemos nuestros dones, por lo que hace que sea bastante sencillo determinar para qué nos ha facultado.
Por ejemplo, si te gusta y eres bueno ayudando a los demás, el servicio es probablemente tu don motivador. Si te gusta estudiar e investigar, es posible que la enseñanza sea tu vocación. Si los demás se benefician constantemente de tu consejo y corrección, es probable que el Padre te haya dotado con el poderoso ministerio de la exhortación. Asimismo, el Señor obrará a través de otros creyentes para ayudarte a saber dónde encajas mejor en el cuerpo de Cristo y a descubrir tus dones. Ejercitar tu don espiritual es la clave para una vida de servicio gratificante en el reino de Dios. Por lo tanto, pídele al Padre que te lo revele. Examina lo que te gusta y lo que no te gusta y busca la opinión de los demás. Sobre todo, recuerda que tu don es dado y determinado por el Espíritu, por lo que debe ser usado para glorificar a Jesús.

Jesús, por favor, revélame mi don espiritual para que pueda servirte con eficacia. Amén.
Gifted
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1 PETER 4:10
Each person has a longing to be special—to be exceptional in some area of life. For believers, that yearning is satisfied through discovering and developing our spiritual gifts. Thankfully, God wants us to use our gifting, so He makes it fairly simple to determine what He has empowered us to do.
For example, if you like and are good at helping others, service is probably your motivational gift. If you enjoy study and investigation, teaching is more likely your calling. If others consistently benefit from your counsel and correction, the Father has probably endowed you with the powerful ministry of exhortation. Likewise, the Lord will work through other believers to help you know where you best fit in the body of Christ. They will verify your giftedness by seeking it out.
Exercising your spiritual gift is the key to a lifetime of rewarding service in God’s kingdom. Therefore, ask the Father to reveal your spiritual gift. Examine your likes and dislikes and seek the input of others. Above all, remember that your gift is given and determined by the Spirit and is to be used to glorify Jesus.
Prayer:
Jesus, please reveal my spiritual gift to me so I may serve You effectively. Amen.
