¿No te gustaría echar un vistazo al cielo? A unos pocos profetas especiales, incluido Ezequiel, se les permitió ver lo que ocurría allí arriba.
El cielo, la sala del trono de Dios, es algo improbable aquí en la tierra. De modo que imagina tener que describir criaturas a las que no has visto jamás. Ezequiel observó unas cuantas escenas que se desarrollaban en el cielo, incluido el trabajo de los querubines. E intentó describirlos; algo así como un ser humano, un animal y un ser angélico. ¡Desde luego algo de otro mundo!
Los querubines son los ayudantes de Dios, y forman parte de las fuerzas angelicales. Son ellos quienes mueven su carro. Cantan en su coro. Guardan su trono. Aunque no podemos verlas, el cielo está lleno de criaturas que sirven y aman a Dios. Él no está allí arriba solo con su Hijo y el Espíritu Santo.
Oración:
Señor, ni siquiera puedo imaginar cómo es el cielo. Sí sé que debe ser más hermoso y asombroso que cualquier lugar aquí abajo. Te doy las gracias por mi salvación y por prepararme un lugar junto a ti y a las multitudes del cielo.
Day 42 • Peek into Heaven
These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the Kebar River, and I realized that they were cherubim. Each had four faces and four wings, and under their wings was what looked like human hands.

Wouldn’t you love a glimpse into Heaven? A few special prophets, including Ezekiel, have been allowed to see what’s going on up there.
Heaven, God’s throne room, is unlike anything here on Earth. So imagine trying to describe creatures you’ve never seen. Ezekiel watched a few scenes unfolding in Heaven, including the work of cherubim. So he tried to describe them—sort of human, sort of animal, sort of angelic. Otherworldly for sure!
Cherubim are God’s attendants, part of the angelic forces. They move his chariot. They sing in his choir. They guard his throne. Though we can’t see them, Heaven is full of creatures who serve and love God. He is not up there alone with his Son and Holy Spirit, just the three of them hanging out. There’s a whole community of beings working for God. We’ll be added to that otherworldly crowd one day and join the celebration going on up there with the rest of the believers.
Prayer:
I can’t even imagine what Heaven is like, God. I know it must be more beautiful and awesome than any place down here. Thank you for my salvation and for preparing a place for me with you and the crowds of Heaven.
