Hace muchos años Dios envió a su hijo, Jesús, a la tierra para que le hablara a la gente de él. Dios informó directamente a algunas personas. Los magos, conocidos por ser hombres sumamente sabios, buscaron una señal divina en el cielo. A continuación, iniciaron un largo viaje desde su país solo para conocer a Jesús y sus padres, María y José. Fue como si Dios hubiera susurrado un gran secreto a estos hombres. ¡Bueno, en realidad lo hizo! Los llevó hasta aquel lugar para que fueran los primeros en ver a Jesús. Tan pronto como contemplaron a aquel bebé, supieron que era el Hijo de Dios. Se sintieron tan honrados y emocionados que se arrodillaron ante él. Luego lo cargaron de presentes. Durante muchos años, solo unos cuantos supieron de la existencia de Jesús y de lo que iba a hacer un día para Dios. Todos los demás estaban en la oscuridad. Cuando Jesús creció, realizó milagros sobrenaturales y sanó a los enfermos. Los magos sabían que haría todo eso años antes de que nadie más se enterara.
Dios no siempre revela sus secretos y sus planes a las personas. En ocasiones esto se debe a que no están preparadas para lo que Dios está llevando a cabo. Cuando Dios te deja participar en sus planes, te llevas algunas grandes sorpresas y descubres lo asombroso que él es.
Oración:
Señor, gracias por enviar a Jesús a hablarnos sobre ti. También te doy las gracias por dejarme formar parte de tus planes.
Day 33 • Secret Plans
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Many years ago, God sent his son, Jesus, to Earth to tell people about God. God let some people know right away. The Magi, who were known as very wise men, looked for a sign in the sky from God. Then they took a long journey from their country just to meet Jesus and his parents, Mary and Joseph. It was like God had whispered a big secret to the Magi. Well, he did, actually! He led them to see Jesus first. As soon as the Magi saw the baby Jesus, they knew he was God’s Son. They were so honored and thrilled that they bowed down on the ground. Then they loaded him up with presents. For many years, only a few people knew about Jesus and what he was going to do for God one day. Everyone else was in the dark. When Jesus grew up, he did supernatural miracles and healed sick people. The Magi knew he would do all that years before anyone else knew.
God doesn’t always reveal his secrets and plans to people. Sometimes that’s because people aren’t ready for what God is doing. When God lets you in on his plans, you’ll get to see some big surprises and find out just how amazing he is.

God, thank you for sending Jesus to tell us about you. Thank you also for letting me be a part of your plans.
