Entonces ellos respondieron, y dijeron: Unos, Juan el Bautista, otros, Elías, y otros, que algún profeta de los antiguos ha resucitado. Y El les dijo: Y vosotros ¿quién decís que soy yo?

Jesús sigue formulando la misma pregunta a cada persona: «¿Quién dices tú que soy?». Y las personas siguen discutiendo quién es Jesús. Algunos afirman que, en realidad, no fue más que un tipo agradable que vagaba por ahí como un hippie, hablando de amor, gozo y felicidad. Otros piensan que Jesús fue un gran maestro que enseñó buenas lecciones sobre cómo hacer lo correcto e hizo muchos amigos. Los hay que niegan que Jesús fuera real, y lo toman por un mero personaje de una historia, como la estrella de una buena película.
La verdad es que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios, y que vino a la tierra para cambiar la vida de las personas y ponerlas en relación con Dios. Si llegamos a conocer a Jesús como Salvador y amigo, estaremos con él en el cielo para siempre. Seremos, asimismo, capaces de compartir su amor y su poder con los demás. Es el Jesús que lo cambia todo. ¿Quién dices tú que es él?
Oración
Jesús, creo que eres el Hijo de Dios. Por amor viniste a la tierra para entregar tu vida, darnos un camino para reunirnos contigo en la eternidad. ¡Gracias!
Day 25 – Who Jesus Is
Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, “Who do the crowds say I am?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, that one of the prophets of long ago has come back to life.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
(LUKE 9:18−20)
Jesus still asks each person the same question: “Who do you say I am?” And people still argue about who Jesus is. Some say he was just a really nice guy who wandered around like a hippie, talking about love, joy, and happiness. Others think Jesus was a great teacher who taught people good lessons about how to do what’s right and make friends. Still others say Jesus wasn’t even real, that he was just a character in a story—like the star of a good movie.
The truth is that Jesus is the Son of God, and he came to Earth to change people’s lives and put them in a relationship with God. If we get to know Jesus as Savior and friend, we will be with him in Heaven forever. We’ll also be able to share his love and power with others. He’s the Jesus that changes everything.

Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Because of love, you came to Earth to give your life away, to give us a way to join you in eternity. Thank you!
