Sorprendente amor El creador del cielo, el que es Dios y Señor, el que hizo la tierra y la formó, el que la afirmó, el que la creó, no para que estuviera vacía sino para que tuviera habitantes. (ISAÍAS 45.18A, DHH)
¿Por qué se tomó Dios toda la molestia de crear un universo para nosotros? Porque es un Dios de amor. Ese tipo de amor es difícil de entender, pero es real. La Biblia nos dice «Dios es amor» (1 Juan 4.8). No afirma que Dios tenga amor. ¡Él es amor!
Dios no necesitaba crearte. No estaba solo. Sin embargo, quiso hacerte para poder expresar su amor. Dios declara: «Yo he cargado con ustedes desde antes que nacieran; yo los he lle”ado en brazos, y seguiré siendo el mismo cuando sean viejos» (Isaías 46.3b–4a, DHH). ¡Vaya! ¡Fuiste creado como objeto especial del amor de Dios! Él te hizo exactamente para poder amarte. No hay nada más maravilloso que esa verdad. Puedes apostar que no.

Señor, gracias por mostrarme tu asombroso amor y por prometerme que me amarás por siempre.
Day 19
Awesome Love He who created the heavens, he is God … he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited.
(ISAIAH 45:18A)
Why did God go to all the trouble of creating a universe for us? Because he is a God of love. This kind of love is difficult to understand, but it’s for real. The Bible tells us, “God is love” (1 John 4:8). It doesn’t say God has love. He is love!
God didn’t need to create you. He wasn’t lonely. But he wanted to make you so he could express his love. God says, “I have carried you since you were born; I have taken care of you from your birth. Even when you are old, I will be the same. Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you. I made you and will take care of you” (Isaiah 46:3b-4a, NCV). Wow. You were created as a special object of God’s love! God made you just so he could love you. Nothing is more wonderful than that truth. You can bet your life on it.

God, thank you for showing me your awesome love and for promising me that you’ll love me forever.
