¿Dónde estabas tú cuando puse los cimientos de la tierra?… ¿Quién contuvo el mar dentro de sus límites cuando brotó del vientre y cuando lo vestí de nubes y lo envolví en densa oscuridad? (JOB 38.4A, 8–9, NTV)
¿Qué es lo más sorprendente que has visto o leído jamás? ¿Qué los astronautas vayan al espacio? ¿Cómo un atleta ha batido el record mundial? ¿Un triple arcoíris? Esas cosas te pueden dejar pasmado. Sin embargo, Dios ha hecho cosas más asombrosas e impactantes. Creó los límites de los mares, para que no inundaran los países bajo sus aguas. Puso el cielo en su lugar, alrededor de la tierra y creó la gravedad que nos mantiene con los pies en el suelo, sin flotar en el espacio. Dios hace que el sol salga por la mañana para que veamos y podamos trabajar y jugar, y hace que se ponga por la noche para que durmamos y descansemos. El salmo 104 describe también unas cuantas cosas increíbles que Dios hace.
Cuando leas un poco sobre el poder asombroso, inmenso, magnífico de Dios, te resultará difícil comprender todo lo que él hace. ¡Oye, hasta tu cerebro, con sus cien mil millones de neuronas y sus sesenta mil vasos sanguíneos es una de sus obras milagrosas! Dios es imparable, sin igual e imbatible. ¡Es digno de tu alabanza!
Oración:
Señor, tú eres asombroso y sorprendente. Ni siquiera alcanzo a comprender todo lo que eres capaz de hacer. Sin embargo, tienes mi alabanza y mi honra.
Day 4 • Show Stopper
Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? … Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness?
(JOB 38:4A, 8–9)
What is the most amazing thing you’ve ever seen or read? Astronauts going into space? An athlete breaking a world record? A triple rainbow? Those things can blow you away. But God has done more amazing, mind-blowing stuff. He created boundaries for the seas, so they don’t flood countries under water. He set the sky in place around the earth and made gravity that keeps us on the ground, not floating off into space. God makes the sun rise in the morning so we can see to work and play, and he makes it set at night so we can sleep and rest. Psalm 104 also describes a few of the mind-boggling things God does.
When you read a little bit of God’s awesome, huge, magnificent, power, it’s hard to wrap your brain around it. Hey, even your brain, with its hundred-billion neurons and sixty-thousand miles of bloods vessels, is one of his miraculous works. God is unstoppable, unmatchable, and unbeatable. He is worthy of your praise!

Lord, you are awesome and amazing. I don’t even realize everything you are capable of doing. But you have my praise and honor.
