A lo largo de nuestra vida podemos pasar por muchos momentos difíciles y de padecimiento; es muy común que en estas situaciones, nos toque tomar decisiones para cambiar el rumbo de nuestra vida, es aquí cuando vamos a el Señor en oración y como dice en: Salmos 142: 2-3
“Expongo mis quejas delante de él y le cuento todos mis problemas. Cuando me siento agobiado, solo tú sabes qué camino debo tomar. Vaya adonde vaya, mis enemigos me han tendido trampas.”
Pase lo que pase, Dios sabe por lo que estamos pasando y siempre nos da la salida o el camino. Porque Él es el camino y no hay nada que el Señor haga en contra de nosotros, en este tiempo de pascua, estas decisiones fuertes nos hace recordar a Jesús en el Getsemani, pide a Dios, en Mateo 26:39
“Él se adelantó un poco más y se inclinó rostro en tierra mientras oraba: «¡Padre mío! Si es posible, que pase de mí esta copa de sufrimiento. Sin embargo, quiero que se haga tu voluntad, no la mía».”
Jesús sabía lo que le iba a suceder pero ora al Padre, a pesar de todo el dolor, sufrimiento y rechazo que iba a sufrir, decidió hacer la voluntad del Padre.
Muchas veces esas decisiones que Dios nos manda a tomar son dolorosas en nuestra humanidad porque vamos a tener que morir a nuestros propios deseos; pero es aquí donde tenemos que poner fijamente nuestra mirada hacia Jesús y saber que la voluntad del padre siempre es buena, agradable y perfecta. Recordemos que el Señor nunca nos va a dejar solos y menos cuando es él quién nos está dirigiendo.
Porque gracias a que Jesús hizo la voluntad del padre y murió por nosotros, cargando todo ese sufrimiento; hoy podemos llamarnos hijos y ser salvos.
Oración:
Bendito Padre, nuestro diario vivir esta lleno de muchas luchas y pruebas; por eso necesitamos de tu dirección y sabiduría divina para continuar, aunque algunas veces no nos guste tomar decisiones que nos cuesta el morir a nuestros deseos, sabemos que es necesario para nosotros y de todos los que nos rodean. Así como Jesús hizo tu voluntad, nosotros tomaremos ese ejemplo a continuar caminando por fe en tu gracia que nos cubre. En el nombre de Jesús, ¡Amén!
Strong decisions
Throughout our lives we can go through many difficult times and seasons of suffering; It is very common that in these situations, we have to make decisions to change the direction of our life. This is when we go to the Lord in prayer and as it says in Psalm 142: 2-3:
“I expose my complaints before him and tell him all my problems. When I feel overwhelmed, only you know what path I should take. Wherever I go, my enemies have laid traps for me.”
Whatever happens, God knows what we are going through and always gives us the way out or the way. Because He is the way and there is nothing the Lord does against us. In this Easter season, these strong decisions make us remember Jesus in Gethsemane, ask God, In Matthew 26:39:
“He advanced a little further and leaned face on the ground while praying: “My Father! If possible, let me pass this cup of suffering from me. However, I want your will to be done, not mine.”
Jesus knew what was going to happen but He prayed to the Father, despite all the pain, suffering, and rejection He was going to suffer. He decided to do the Father’s will.
Many times those decisions that God commands us to make are painful in our human nature because we are going to have to die to our own desires; But it is here that we have to stare our eyes toward Jesus and know that the Father’s will is always good, pleasant and perfect.
Let us remember that the Lord will never leave us alone, and less so when He is leading us.
Because Jesus did the Father’s will and died for us, bearing all that suffering; today we can call ourselves children and be saved.
Prayer:
Blessed Father, our daily living is filled with many struggles and trials; that is why we need your divine guidance and wisdom to continue, although sometimes we do not like making decisions that cost us to die to our desires, we know that it is necessary for us and all around us. Just as Jesus did your will, we will take that example to continue walking by faith in your covering grace. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
