Juan 4:10
Respondió Jesús y le dijo: Si conocieras el don de Dios, y quién es el que te dice: Dame de beber; tú le pedirías, y él te daría agua viva.
En este pasaje bíblico, nos relata la historia de uno de los muchos encuentros que tuvo el Señor Jesús; que transformo la vida de una mujer, en este caso, un día Jesús, rumbo a Galilea, tuvo que pasar por Sicar una ciudad de Samaria, y cansado de caminar, descansó en un pozo él solo, mientras sus discípulos fueron a traerle de qué comer, y fue entonces cuando se conoció con la mujer samaritana.
Si lees el pasaje de Juan 4, desde el versículo 1 al 15, notarás algo curioso. Primero, Jesús toma como pretexto pedirle agua, pero al final, termina él ofreciéndole el agua de vida que sacia el corazón. Y termina pues, ella pidiéndole a Él, conociendo los beneficios. Pero notarás, después del versículo 16 que el corazón de esta mujer estaba lleno de heridas del pasado, con vacíos profundos, que siempre buscó llenar con el amor de hombres, que tal vez, le hicieron más daño.
Había tomado malas decisiones, no una vez, sino seis veces, se había aferrado a personas y situaciones que le habían hecho más daño, de lo que le podrían beneficiar; pero al encontrarse con Jesús, todo fue diferente, Él le ofreció de su agua que saciará su vida, y sólo después de beber del agua de Jesús, solo querría más agua de Él, no de otras personas o medios parecidos.
El agua espiritual de Jesús
sacia nuestra necesidad de Amor. Porque su amor es verdadero amor. El cual se recibe por fe y en oración.
Antes de que estemos dispuestos a recibir el don de Dios, Él tiene que revelar nuestras necesidades y crear en el corazón del pecador una sed aguda para el Agua de la Vida.
Esto es lo que Cristo hizo por esta mujer de Samaria y a partir de ese momento ella nunca más se separó de el y no se pudo contener, corrió a decirle a otros acerca de Jesús, tomando así la mejor decisión de su vida.

▪︎¿Deseas nunca más tener que ir a un pozo de aguas, que sacia temporalmente, porque deseas el agua que proviene de Dios que sacia mi sed una vez y para siempre?
▪︎Deseas seguir buscando por otros medios la felicidad o quisieras darle la oportunidad a Jesús?
Oración:
Mi Amado Jesús! Miraste con compasión a la Samaritana y saciaste su sed con tus aguas de vida eterna e inagotable amor; y hoy vienes a nosotros a regalarnos de esas aguas de vida, cambiando nuestro lamento en gozo, nuestro pasado vergonzoso por tiempos de honra, nuestra pobreza en riquezas para mostrarnos el deseo de tu corazón. Danos de beber de tus aguas para no tener sed jamás Señor. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén!

Jesus answered and said to her: If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that says to you: Give me to drink; you would ask him, and he would give you living water.
In this biblical passage, he tells us the story of one of the many encounters that the Lord Jesus had; that transformed the life of a woman, in this case, one day Jesus, on his way to Galilee, had to go through Sychar a city in Samaria, and tired of walking, he rested in a well by himself, while his disciples went to bring him something to eat, and it was then that he met the Samaritan woman.
If you read the passage from John 4, from verses 1 to 15, you will notice something curious. First, Jesus finds an excuse to ask for water, but in the end, he ends up offering her the water of life that satisfies the heart. And she ends up asking Him, knowing the benefits. But you will notice, after verse 16 that this woman’s heart was full of wounds from the past, with deep voids, which she always sought to fill with the love of men, which perhaps did her more harm.
He had made bad decisions, not once, but six times, he had clung to people and situations that had done him more harm, than they could benefit him; But when he met Jesus, everything was different. He offered him his water that would satisfy his life, and only after drinking Jesus’ water, would he only want more water from Him, not from other people or similar means.
The spiritual water of Jesus satisfies our need for Love. Because His love is true love. Which is received by faith and prayer. Before we are willing to receive God’s gift, He has to reveal our needs and create in the heart of the sinner a sharp thirst for the Water of Life.
This is what Christ did for this woman from Samaria and from that moment on she never separated from him again and could not contain herself, she ran to tell others about Jesus, thus making the best decision of her life.
Questions to conclude:
▪︎Do you want to never have to go to a well of water, which temporarily quenches, because you want the water that comes from God that quenches your thirst once and for all?
▪︎Do you want to continue looking for happiness by other means or would you like to give Jesus the opportunity?
Prayer:
My Beloved Jesus! You looked with compassion on the Samaritan woman and quenched her thirst with Your waters of eternal life and inexhaustible love; and today You come to us to give us those waters of life, changing our lament into joy, our shameful past into times of honor, our poverty into riches to show us the desire of Your heart. Give us Your water to drink so that we will never be thirsty Lord. In the name of Jesus, amen!
