Para siempre es muchísimo tiempo. ¿Has intentado pensar en cuánto es para siempre? ¡Te daría dolor de cabeza ! Dios es para siempre. Ha estado aquí mucho más que tus padres, tus abuelos o la persona más mayor que conozcas. Existía antes incluso de que se creara la tierra. ¡Eso es muy antiguo!
La Biblia declara que Dios ha sido fiel desde que está aquí. Fiel es solo una parte de lo que él es. Significa que podemos contar con él, porque es digno de confianza, amoroso y justo. Puedes estar seguro de que responderá las oraciones, honrará su palabra y protegerá a aquellos que lo siguen.
Cada vez que lo necesites, Dios será el mismo Dios que estuvo con tus padres, tus abuelos y Adán y Eva. Cuando las cosas no tienen sentido y tú no entiendes por qué suceden cosas malas, puedes contar con que Dios estará aquí contigo y usará esas dificultades para tu beneficio en tu vida. Gracias a Dios.
Oración:
Gracias, Señor, porque se puede depender de ti y eres digno de confianza. Te ruego que me ayudes a confiar en tu fidelidad. Gracias por estar siempre ahí.
Day 41 • Count on Him
Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. (PSALM 119:89–90)
Forever is a long time. Have you ever tried to think about how long forever is? It will make your brain hurt! God is forever. He’s been around longer than your parents, your grandparents, or the oldest person you know. He was around before the earth was even made. That’s old!
The Bible tells us that God has been faithful for as long as he has been around. Faithful is just part of who he is. That means you can count on him to be trustworthy, loving, and just. You can be sure that he will answer prayers, honor his word, and protect those who follow him.
Every time you need him, God will be the same God who has been with your parents, your grandparents, and Adam and Eve. When things don’t make sense and you don’t understand why bad things happen, you can count on God to be there with you and use those hardships for good in your life. Thank God.
Prayer:
Thank you, Lord, that you are dependable and trustworthy. Please help me trust in your faithfulness. Thank you for always being there.
