David a veces le pedía a Dios que lo examinara para ver si había algo en su corazón que no estaba bien. Este es un paso audaz, pero que prueba claramente si una persona quiere o no la voluntad de Dios, sin importar lo que sea.
Cuando parece que Dios está en silencio, es posible que haya algo que nos impida escucharlo: un pecado, una actitud equivocada o un malentendido sobre cómo escuchar a Dios.
No debemos tener miedo de conocer la verdad, porque nos hará libres. En su momento de quietud con Dios, pídale que examine su corazón, como hizo David. Lo que Dios le muestre será para su beneficio y le ayudará a acercarte a Él continuamente.

Una relación sana y cercana con Dios requiere pedirle que nos revele la verdad y la voluntad de cambiar cuando nos lo pida.

When God Seems Silent
Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.
(Psalm 139:23–24)
David sometimes asked God to examine him to see if anything was in his heart that was not right. This is a bold step, but one that clearly proves whether or not a person truly wants God’s will, no matter what it might be.
When it seems God is silent, it is possible there is something blocking us from hearing Him—a sin, a wrong attitude, or a misunderstanding on how to hear from God.
We don’t need to be afraid to know the truth, because it will set us free. In your quiet time with God, ask Him to examine your heart, just like David did. Whatever God shows you will be for your benefit and will help you continually draw closer to Him.

A healthy, close relationship with God requires asking Him to reveal truth to us and a willingness to change when He asks us to.
