¿Alguna vez han intentado esconder una luz en un lugar muy muy oscuro? ¡Es imposible! La Biblia nos enseña que como hijos de Dios somos la luz y la sal del mundo, cuantas veces no hemos querido tapar esa luz que solo viene de Dios por aparentar o agradar a otras personas.
Estamos viviendo tiempos donde afirmarnos como creyentes es tan difícil y complicado porque no solo somos señalados como religiosos y aburridos, sino que también somos señalados por siempre tener que estar en perfectas condiciones en todos los aspectos de nuestra vida. Es por esta razón que muchas veces a las personas les cuesta decirle al mundo que son cristianos, tapan su identidad de hijos por no querer dar cuentas de lo que están haciendo mal, les da vergüenza el simple hecho de estar pasando por una mala situación, pensando que no están dando un buen ejemplo de la vida de un cristiano y la verdad es que:
“Los que buscan su ayuda estarán radiantes de alegría; ninguna sombra de vergüenza les oscurecerá el rostro.”
Salmos 34:5 NTV
Dios quiere participar en nuestra vida, él nos llena de su gozo y como dice este verso nos llena de alegría, no quiere esperar un cierto día u hora para encontrarnos y vernos cumplir una obligación religiosa; su intención es que, cada día y hora de nuestra existencia, haya en nuestros labios una expresión que revele nuestra gratitud y dependencia.
En la palabra puedes encontrar muchas historias de fracaso y victorias así que no pensemos que hay una vida perfecta sin tribulación al ser cristiano, Dios es nuestra guía en ese caminar, si aún estamos fallando en alguna área él la va a corregir.
Su palabra nos hace fuerte y nos da la victoria que estamos buscando.
Es tiempo de dejar de ser cristianos a la secreta y cumplir con la obligación de alumbrar al mundo, te animo a salir y predicar a Cristo con palabras y con tus acciones, porque un hijo de Dios debe distinguirse del montón no teniendo una vida perfecta sino sabiendo llevar tribulaciones con el gozo del Señor y haciendo su voluntad . Comparte de tu fe y se de bendición en el lugar que te encuentras.
Oración:
Padre Celestial, perdona si acaso no hemos revelado nuestra verdadera identidad como hijos tuyos, tu luz y tu gloria; regalanos de tu valentía y de tu gracia para que a pesar de los ataques o de los señalamientos podamos persistir y avanzar; queremos anunciarle a todos tu infinita misericordia y tu verdad, en el nombre de Jesús. ¡Amén!
Undercover Christians
Have you ever tried to hide a light in a very, very dark place? It’s impossible! The Bible teaches us that as children of God we are the light and the salt of the world, how many times have we not wanted to cover that light that only comes from God to please other people.
We are living in times where affirming ourselves as believers is so difficult and complicated because we are not only marked as religious and boring, but we are also marked as always having to be in perfect condition in all aspects of our lives. It is for this reason that many times it is difficult for people to tell the world that they are Christians, they cover up their identity as children of God because they do not want to account for what they are doing wrong, they are ashamed of the simple fact that they are going through a bad situation, thinking that they are not giving a good example of the life of a Christian and the truth is that:
“Those who seek his help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.”
Psalms 34:5 NLT
God wants to participate in our lives, He fills us with His joy, and as this verse says He fills us with happiness, He does not want to wait for a certain day or hour to meet us and see us fulfill a religious obligation; its intention is that, every day and hour of our existence, there is on our lips an expression that reveals our gratitude and dependence.
In the word you can find many stories of failure and victories so let’s not think that there is a perfect life without tribulation as a Christian, God is our guide in that walk, if we are still failing in some area He will correct it.
His word makes us strong and gives us the victory we are looking for.
It is time to stop being undercover Christians and fulfill the obligation to enlighten the world. I encourage you to go out and preach Christ with words and with your actions, because a child of God must stand out from the crowd by not having a perfect life but knowing how to carry tribulations with the joy of the Lord and doing His will. Share your faith and be a blessing wherever you are.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, forgive us if we have not revealed our true identity as your children, Your light and Your glory; Give us Your courage and Your grace so that despite the attacks or the accusations we can persist and advance; we want to announce to all Your infinite mercy and Your truth, in the name of Jesus.
