Creer en Dios y creerle a Dios son dos cosas distintas, y es importante que entendamos la diferencia a fin de llevar una vida cristiana victoriosa. Creer en Dios es declarar: «Sé que Él existe». Pero creerle a Dios es confiar en lo que Él ha dicho acerca de sí mismo, de nosotros y de la relación que desea tener con los suyos. Esto va más allá de nuestra salvación y nos lleva a tener mayor fe en Jesús para cada detalle de nuestras vidas.
Por ejemplo, el versículo de hoy significa tener plena confianza en que el miedo no proviene del Señor, pero sí la confianza; es decir, esa sensación de pertenencia y claridad. Así que podemos tener la seguridad de que Dios nos dará fortaleza, amor y sabiduría para enfrentar lo que pueda venir.
¿Le cree hoy a Dios? ¿Confía en que no hay ninguna razón verdadera para temer? Sí, las circunstancias que usted atraviesa pueden parecer abrumadoras, pero Él lo acompaña a través de todas ellas (Isaías 41:10). Así que anímese y tenga fe en que con la ayuda del Señor nada será imposible para usted (Mateo 17:20).

Dios, sé que gran parte de mi lucha es que no tecreo de veras. Ayúdame en mi incredulidad, mi Señor y mi Salvador, pues eres digno de toda mi confianza. Amén.
BELIEVE HIM

Believing in God and believing God are two different things—and it is important that you understand the distinction in order to live the victorious Christian life. Believing in God is saying, “I know God exists.” But believing God is trusting what He has said about Himself, about us, and about the relationship He desires to have with us. This goes beyond our basic salvation to having utmost faith in Jesus for every detail of our lives.
For example, today’s verse means having full confidence that fear does not come from the Lord—confidence, a sense of belonging, and clarity do. So you can be sure that God is going to give you the strength, the love, the wisdom to face whatever may come.
Do you believe God today? Do you trust there’s no real reason to fear? Yes, your circumstances may seem overwhelming, but He walks with you through all of it (Isaiah 41:10). So you can take heart and have faith that with His help, nothing will be impossible to you (Matthew 17:20).
Prayer:
God, I know that a great deal of my struggle is that I don’t actually believe You. Help my unbelief, my Lord and my Savior. You are worthy of all my trust. Amen.
