GÉNESIS 3:9
Al principio, Adán y Eva vivían en el paraíso. Era un lugar perfecto, aunque no por el entorno ni por su vida juntos, por muy hermoso que fuera todo. Lo que hacía su vida tan maravillosa era la comunión que compartían con el Creador. Experimentaban la presencia de Dios. El Padre hablaba con ellos, y ellos hablaban libremente con Él. No había culpa, vergüenza ni hipocresía. Era el cielo en la tierra y su intimidad con el Padre era constante.
Pero un día, después de la desobediencia que estremeció al universo, todo terminó. El pecado trajo la muerte al mundo, pero también hizo algo mucho peor: corrompió su relación con Dios. La comunión ininterrumpida con el Creador se perdió, dejando un vacío devastador. Jesús vino a restaurar esa intimidad con el Padre.
Fuiste creado para vivir en la presencia de Dios. Agustín dijo una vez: «Nuestro corazón está inquieto hasta que descanse en ti». ¿Sientes una inquietud que no puedes satisfacer con nada? Ese anhelo es por la comunión con el Padre. Él te llama hoy, así como llamó a Adán y Eva en el principio. Acude a Él y disfruta de su presencia.

Jesús, gracias por restaurar nuestra relación. Te necesito y quiero vivir en perfecta unión contigo. Amén.
Made to Fellowship
The LORD God called to the man.
GENESIS 3:9
In the beginning, Adam and Eve lived in paradise. It was a place that was perfect, though not because of the surroundings or their life together, as beautiful as it all was. What made their lives so wonderful was the communion they shared with the Creator. They experienced the presence of God. The Father talked with them, and they spoke freely with Him. There was no guilt, shame, or pretense. It was heaven on earth while their intimacy with the Father continued.
But one day, after their world-shattering disobedience, it all ended. Sin brought death into the world, but it also did far worse; it corrupted their relationship with God. The unbroken fellowship with the Creator was lost—leaving a devastating emptiness. It is this intimacy with the Father that Jesus came to restore.
You were made to live in the presence of God. Augustine once said, “Our hearts are restless till they find their rest in Thee.” Do you feel a disquiet that nothing can satisfy? That longing is for fellowship with the Father. He calls to you today, just as He called to Adam and Eve in the beginning. Go to Him and enjoy His presence.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for restoring our relationship. I need You and want to dwell in perfect union with You. Amen.
