Salmos 95:8
“no endurezcáis vuestro corazón como en Meriba , como en el día de Masah en el desierto”,
Meriba es una palabra hebrea que significa: prueba, tentación; Moisés da este nombre a un campamento israelita donde les faltó el agua. Dios ordenó a Moisés que golpeara la peña de Horeb para confundir la incredulidad de los israelitas, y el agua salió.
Los israelitas habían visto el poder de Dios, como Él, los había sacado de Egipto, de la esclavitud en que estaban y después de ser libres, en medio de las circunstancias que vivían, se olvidaron de lo que Dios había hecho, es obvio! que había sido difícil para ellos estar en el desierto, pero fácilmente, se dejaron llevar por las circunstancias que tenían en ese momento, como por ejemplo, en la escasez de agua, se manifestó lo que había en sus corazones, no confiaron en que si Dios había hecho cosas más grandes y poderosas, no iba a dejar de proveerles de todas las demás cosas, no debían dudar, ni murmurar, quejarse o entrar en rencillas.
El tiempo de opresión que tuvieron los israelitas en Egipto como esclavos había dejado sus corazones dañados, ya no eran esclavos físicamente pero sus corazones, si lo estaban y a raíz de que nunca buscaron cambiar en la presencia de Dios su corazón, no pudieron entrar a la tierra prometida; solo la nueva generación que nació en el desierto, los que no tenían un corazón endurecido, entraron a la tierra que Dios les había prometido; con excepción de Josué y Caleb, que no murieron en el desierto; ( ellos tenían un espíritu diferente).
Dios quiere que tengamos un corazón de carne, esto quiere decir, que no haya rencor, enojo, envidias, falta de perdón, contienda o cosas parecidas a estas, donde no se manifiesta el verdadero amor.
Pregúntale a Dios como el Rey David lo hizo:
Salmos 139:23-24
Examíname, oh Dios, y conoce mi corazón; Pruébame y conoce mis pensamientos; Y ve si hay en mí camino de perversidad, Y guíame en el camino eterno.
Un corazón endurecido no permitirá que llegues al propósito que Dios te dio, Él te ama y si te rindes a Él, Él te mostrará lo que hay en lo más profundo de tu alma.

▪︎Estas realmente seguro que no hay nada en tu corazón, que este siendo estorbo para que fluya el poder del Espíritu Santo?
▪︎Cuando otra persona recibe la respuesta a sus oraciones, sientes celos?
▪︎Algunas veces sin saber porque sientes enojo o rabia por alguien?
Oración:
Bendito Yahweh! grande y poderoso eres, para ti no hay nada oculto, ni en los cielos, ni en la tierra, ni debajo de ella, ante ti estamos descubiertos, por eso examina lo profundo de nuestro corazón y ve si hay maldad alguna y te damos permiso para que arranques todo raíz de iniquidad, que nos santifiques en ti, que las brazas de tu fuego destruya toda impureza para tener un corazón conforme al tuyo, donde fluya tu presencia con el poder del Amor; en el nombre de Jesús, Amen!
Hardened Heart
Psalm 95: 8
“Do not harden your hearts as in Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the desert”,
Meriba is a Hebrew word that means: test, temptation; Moses gives this name to an Israelite camp where they lacked water. God commanded Moses to strike the rock of Horeb to confuse the unbelief of the Israelites, and the water came out.
The Israelites had seen the power of God, as He had brought them out of Egypt, from the slavery in which they were and after being free, in the midst of the circumstances they lived in, they forgot what God had done, it is obvious! that it had been difficult for them to be in the desert, but easily, they got carried away by the circumstances they had at that time, such as the lack of water, what was in their hearts manifested, they did not trust that if God had done greater and more powerful things, he was not going to stop providing them with all the other things, they should not doubt, or murmur, complain or get into quarrels.
The time of oppression that the Israelites had in Egypt as slaves had left their hearts damaged, they were no longer physically slaves but their hearts, if they were and because they never sought to change their heart in the presence of God, they could not enter the promised land; Only the new generation that was born in the desert, those who did not have a hardened heart, entered the land that God had promised them; with the exception of Josue and Caleb, who did not die in the desert; (they had a different spirit).
God wants us to have a heart of flesh, this means that there is no resentment, anger, envy, unforgiveness, strife or things similar to these, where true love is not manifested.
Ask God how King David did it:
Psalm 139: 23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my thoughts; And see if there is a wicked way in me, And guide me on the eternal path.
A hardened heart will not allow you to reach the purpose that God gave you, He loves you and if you surrender to Him, He will show you what is in the depths of your soul.

▪ Are you really sure that there is nothing in your heart that is hindering the flow of the power of the Holy Spirit?
▪︎When someone else receives the answer to your prayers, do you feel jealous?
▪︎Sometimes without knowing why you feel angry or angry at someone?

Blessed Yahweh! You are great and powerful, for You there is nothing hidden, neither in the heavens, nor on the earth, nor under it, we are discovered before You, so examine the depths of our heart and see if there is any evil and we give You permission so that You uproot every root of iniquity, that You sanctify us in You, that the fathoms of Your fire destroy all impurity to have a heart according to yours, where Your presence flows with the power of Love; In the name of Jesus, amen
