Gálatas 5:22-23
En cambio, la clase de fruto que el Espíritu Santo produce en nuestra vida es: amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, gentileza, bondad, fidelidad, humildad y control propio. ¡No existen leyes contra esas cosas!
¿Te has dado cuenta que continuamente tienes celos, envidia, falta de perdón, no puedes dominar tu enojo?.
¿Repetidas veces fallas, te das cuenta que tus esfuerzos por transformar tus conductas, no son suficientes y vuelves a cometer el mismo error?
Asi que estás esforzandote, batallando y luchando cada día por cambiar, haciendolo por tus propias fuerzas.
E inclusive en medio de desafíos, a veces tratas de superar la adversidad por tu propio poder. Al hacerlo muchas veces eres tentado a compremeter tu carácter cristiano para superar la adversidad, ya que usualmente te gusta tomar atajos y salir rápido de esa situación.
El Espíritu Santo está dispuesto y también es capaz de producir en tu vida el carácter de Cristo, no mediante el esfuerzo que usted haga, sino a través de su poder transformador. Su tarea es permanecer en Él, lo que significa mantener su enfoque en Jesús, sometiéndose a su liderazgo, y percibiendo los detalles de su vida como viniendo de su mano y para su instrucción.
Usted no puede cambiar por sí mismo, pero Dios puede cambiarle. Y una vez que aprenda a permitir que Él le transforme, tendrá la clave para vivir una vida verdaderamente victoriosa.
A medida que enfrentamos nuestros desafíos y éxitos con el carácter de Cristo, comenzamos a crecer en nuestro caminar con Dios. Incluso empezamos a reconocer que operar en el Fruto del Espíritu trabaja para nuestro bien supremo y para Su honor. Cuanto más crecemos en nuestro caminar con Dios, ¡Dios puede confiar aún mayores bendiciones en nuestras vidas!
Oración:
Señor, solo tú puedes transformarme verdaderamente. Vive en mí. Enséñame a permanecer siempre en ti. Anhelo estar enfocado completamente en ti y que tu te glorifiques en mis debilidades. En el nombre de Jesús. ¡Amen!
Building New Character
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Have you noticed that you constantly are jealous, envious, lack forgiveness, or that you lack a control over your anger?
Do you fail countless times? Do you realize that your efforts to change your behaviors are not enough and you continue to make the same mistake?
So you are pushing yourself, battling, and fighting everyday to change, doing it through your own strengths. And even in the midst of challenges, sometimes you try to overcome adversity through your own power. Continuously doing this leads to a temptation in compromising your Christian character to overcome adversity, since usually you like to take shortcuts and quickly get out of difficult situations.
The Holy Spirit is ready and also capable of producing the character of Christ in your life, not through your own efforts, but rather through its transforming power. The Holy Spirit’s task is to live through Him, what it means to maintain focus on Jesus, submitting to His leadership, and perceiving the details of His life as if it comes from His hand and instruction.
You cannot change by your own doing, but only through God. And once you permit Him to transform you, you will have the key in living a truly victorious life.
As we face our challenges and successes with the character of Christ, we begin to grow in our walk with God. Even so, we begin to recognize that to function in the Fruit of the Spirit works to our supreme benefit and for His honor. The more we grow in our walk with God, God can bring even greater blessings to our lives!
Prayer:
Lord, only you can truly transform me. Live in me. Teach me to live through you. I long to be focused completely in young that You glorify Yourself in my disabilities. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
