No hace falta una encuesta o un estudio para darse cuenta de que el mundo está hambriento de amor genuino. Para los que no conocen el amor de Dios, el espacio vacío en sus corazones los consume continuamente, aunque no estén conscientes de esa falta. Muchos intentan llenar ese vacío con un sinfín de distracciones o adicciones, mientras que otros buscan atención o cualquier afecto que puedan encontrar por el momento.
Por lo tanto, cuando se trata de compartir el perfecto e incondicional amor de Dios con los demás, no faltan aquellos que lo acepten. Por eso debes tomarte en serio tu papel de representante de Cristo y tratar a los demás con amabilidad. Tienes un Salvador y amigo que no solo ve más allá de tus faltas, sino que se sacrificó para comprar tu salvación. Él está atento a tus necesidades, te da una nueva identidad y provee para ti. En medio de circunstancias difíciles y tiempos de confusión, sabes que nunca te dejará ni te abandonará. Te has beneficiado en gran medida del amor que Jesús ha derramado sobre ti; ahora, compártelo con otros que están sufriendo. No los rechaces a causa de su pecado, sino condúcelos al Salvador para que hallen la redención. El campo misionero está abierto de par en par. Sé un ejemplo del amor de Cristo.

Jesús, haz de mí un instrumento de tu amor para todos los que conozco. Amén.
Sharing Christ’s Love
“This I command you, that you love one another.” JOHN 15:17
It doesn’t take a survey or a study to figure out that the world is starved for genuine love. For those who do not know the love of God, the empty space in their hearts gnaws at them continually, regardless of whether they consciously acknowledge the void. Many try to fill that space with a host of distractions or addictions, while others seek attention or whatever affection they can find for the moment.
Therefore, when it comes to sharing God’s perfect, unconditional love with others, there is no shortage of takers. That is why you must take your role as Christ’s representative seriously and deal with others kindly. You have a Savior and Friend who not only sees past your faults but sacrificed Himself to purchase your salvation. He attends to your needs, gives you a new identity, and provides for you. In difficult circumstances and times of confusion, you know He will never leave you or forsake you. You’ve benefited greatly from the love Jesus has poured out on you; now, share it with others who are hurting. Don’t reject them because of their sin—instead, lead them to the Savior who redeems them from it. The mission field is wide open. Be an example of Christ’s love.

Jesus, make me an instrument of Your love to everyone I meet. Amen.
