Hoy en día en el mundo que estamos atravesando, la vida se evalúa por quienes tienen más títulos, dinero y posición; por lo general cuando lo tenemos todo y tenemos esa autoridad, pensamos que no tenemos que mirar a otros o que no recibiremos de otros. Caminando en altivez y orgullo, muchas veces en estas posiciones nos cuesta bajar la cabeza, someternos, mirar a otros con amor y respeto, haciéndosenos fácil caminar con un espíritu de independencia, que no nos deja ver lo que otros tienen para nosotros de parte de Dios.
Eso no quiere decir que tener todo sea malo pero aun cuando nuestro Padre del cielo siempre nos ponga en las mejores posiciones y nos lo de todo, siempre tenemos que caminar humildes como Jesús siempre lo hizo.
Para Jesús empezar su ministerio tuvo que obedecer la voluntad del Padre, se debía cumplir lo que estaba escrito por la ley y los profetas.
Que aún cuando tenía el título de ser Dios hecho carne, igual se sometió a las personas que estaban en su autoridad, aún cuando su padre del cielo le podía dar lo mejor, Él decidió no tener nada para darlo a los demás y dejarse bendecir por otros. Lo podemos ver cuando al empezar su ministerio, se presentó ante Juan el Bautista y aunque Juan se queda atónito, le dice: no soy yo quien te debe bautizar, eres tu quien me bautiza a mi, ya que Jesús era Dios. Jesús se sometió a la voluntad del Padre, fue humilde, Juan el Bautista le había preparado el camino a Él, había sido enviado primero que Él, al humillarse y someterse, fue bautizado, lleno del Espíritu Santo. Y el Padre se manifestó.
Mateo 3:17
“Este es mi hijo en quién tengo complacencia “
En nuestro caminar como cristianos nos podemos dar cuenta como al someternos e ir en humildad, Dios se manifiesta el triple y nos bendice más de lo que nosotros nos imaginamos.
Oración:
Gracias Padre porque cada día tu traes revelación a nuestras vidas a través de tu palabra y así podamos tener el entendimiento que debemos caminar siempre con un corazón humilde, sometiendonos siempre a toda autoridad puesta por ti, que así se manifieste tu justicia y amor en nosotros hacia los demás. En el nombre de Jesús. ¡Amén!
Walk humbly with your God.
Today in this world, life is evaluated by those with the most titles, money and status; usually when we have everything and have that authority, we think we don’t have to look at others or that we won’t receive from others. Walking in arrogance and pride, many times in these positions we struggle to lower our heads, submit ourselves to Him, and look to others with love and respect, while making it easy for us to walk in a spirit of independence, which does not let us see what others have for us sent from God.
That doesn’t mean having everything is bad, but even though our Father in heaven always puts us in the best positions and gives us all that we need, we always have to walk as humble as Jesus always did.
For Jesus to begin his ministry, he had to obey the will of the Father, and he had to fulfill what was written by the law and the prophets.
Even though He had the title of being God made into flesh, he submitted himself to the people who were in his authority, even though His Father in heaven could give Him the best things, He decided not to have anything so that He may be blessed by others. We can see it when at the beginning of His ministry he appeared before John the Baptist and even though John is stunned, he says to him: It is not I who should baptize you, it is you who baptize me, since Jesus was God. Jesus submitted Himself to the will of the Father, was humble, John the Baptist had prepared the way for Him. Though this, by humiliating Himself and submitting Himself, was baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit. And the Father manifested Himself.
Matthew 3:17
“This is my son in whom I am pleased “
In our walk as Christians, we can realize how by subjecting ourselves and going in humility, God manifests himself threefold and blesses us more than we imagine.
Prayer:
Thank you Father because every day you bring revelation into our lives through your word and so we can have the understanding that we must always walk with a humble heart, always submitting ourselves to every authority put by you, so may your justice and love be manifested in us toward others. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
