1 Samuel 22
El sentirse acorralado podría significar diferentes cosas, una de ellas podrían ser:
– sentirte que los problemas y situaciones te persiguen porque sales de una y te llega otra.
– te sientes desafortunado en el amor porque sales de una relación tóxica y empiezas con otra relación que se convierte en igual o peor de tóxica que la anterior.
– No puedes avanzar en tu vida cristiana porque te ves todo el tiempo acorralado por las pruebas y tentaciones que el mundo y el enemigo con sus secuaces te traen.
Uno de los personajes de la biblia que llegó a ser el Rey del pueblo de Israel, el rey David tuvo situaciones difíciles como el verse perseguido y acorralado, una de ellas fue por su antecesor el rey Saul quien tuvo envidia y celos de él y lo perseguía para matarlo.
Él había sido ungido por el profeta Samuel, ya Dios lo había escogido y le había dado la palabra de que el sería el próximo rey de Israel, él estaba seguro que en el tiempo de Dios, se establecería como rey pero antes de esto debía confiar que Dios tendría cuidado de él, y una de las cosas por las que el rey Saul había sentido celos de él, era por ver el respaldo de Dios con el y el ver que David siempre que iba a las batallas tenía la victoria que hasta el las mujeres entonaban una frase cantando,
1 Samuel 18:7-9
Y cantaban las mujeres que danzaban, y decían: Saúl hirió a sus miles, Y David a sus diez miles. Y se enojó Saúl en gran manera, y le desagradó este dicho, y dijo: A David dieron diez miles, y a mí miles; no le falta más que el reino. Y desde aquel día Saúl no miró con buenos ojos a David.
David se fortaleció en la promesa, no miró lo que lo acorralaba, sino que por el contrario ayudó a otros, y se le unieron todos los que estaban en apuros, endeudados y formó un ejército de 400 hombres.
No mires lo que te está acorralando o persiguiendo, a tu alrededor, sino que mira hacia arriba y cree lo que Dios te dice hoy en:
1 Samuel 22:23
Quédate conmigo, no temas; quien buscare mi vida, buscará también la tuya; pues conmigo estarás a salvo.
Y continúa fortaleciéndote en el Señor, ayudando a los que podrían estar en situaciones similares o peores que las tuyas con tus testimonios o con una palabra de apoyo guiándolos hacia Dios.
Dios pelea por ti y todo lo que no te permite llegar a la posición real que debes estar, serán destruidas por el que es tu Salvador, ya que si tus batallas las entregas a él, se convierten en sus batallas.
Oración:
¡Rey Amado! Situaciones difíciles y complicadas nos toca vivir hoy en día en este mundo, más tu palabra nos confirma tu fidelidad, amor y protección, por eso corremos ante ti conectándonos con la fuente de fortaleza que nos ayuda a vencer y avanzar en los momentos que nos sentimos acorralados por que tuya es nuestra batalla y nos das la victoria, en el nombre de Jesús. ¡Amén!
Even if you feel cornered
1 Samuel 22
Feeling cornered could mean different things, one of which could be:
– Feeling that problems and situations haunt you because you leave one and another comes to you.
– You feel unlucky in love because you leave a toxic relationship and start another relationship that becomes the same or worse than the previous one.
– You cannot advance in your Christian life because you see yourself all the time cornered by the trials and temptations that the world and the enemy with their henchmen bring you.
One of the characters in the bible who became the King of the people of Israel, King David had difficult situations such as being persecuted and cornered, one of them was due to his predecessor King Saul who was envious and jealous of him, chased to kill him.
He had been anointed by the prophet Samuel, and God had chosen him and had given him the word that he would be the next king of Israel, he was sure that in God’s time, he would establish himself as king but before this he had to trust that God would take care of him, and one of the things King Saul had been jealous of him for was seeing God’s backing with him and seeing that David whenever he went to battle had the victory that until the women sang a phrase singing,
1 Samuel 18: 7-9
And the dancing women sang, and said: Saul struck a thousand of him, And David a ten thousand of him. And Saul was very angry, and this saying displeased him, and said, They gave David ten thousands, and to me thousands; he lacks nothing but the kingdom. And from that day on, Saul did not look kindly on David.
David was strengthened in the promise, he did not look at what made him welcome but on the contrary helped others, and he was joined by all those who were in distress, in debt and he formed an army of 400 men.
Do not look at what is cornering you or chasing you, around you but look up and believe what God tells you today in:
1 Samuel 22:23
Stay with me, fear not; whoever seeks my life will also seek yours; Well with me you will be safe.
And continue to strengthen yourself in the Lord, helping those who might be in similar or worse situations than yours with your testimonies or a word of support guiding them to God.
God fights for you and everything that does not allow you to reach the real position that you should be will be destroyed by the one who is your Savior, because if your battles are handed over to him, they become his battles.
Prayer:
Beloved King! Difficult and complicated situations we have to live today in this world, plus your word confirms your fidelity, love and protection, that is why we run before you connecting with the source of strength that helps us overcome and advance in the moments that we feel cornered because yours is our battle and you give us victory, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
