Pero tú, mi Dios, Dios clemente y compasivo, paciente, lleno de amor y de verdad,
Salmos 86:15
Cuando hablamos de los atributos de Dios, hablamos de la forma en que Dios puede ser descrito. Esos atributos en realidad son características perfectas, cada una es diferente de la otra, pero actúan juntas y son parte de la naturaleza misma de nuestro Dios. Es decir, Dios es, fue y siempre será en cada temporada, cada momento y cada época de tu vida, bueno, justo, misericordioso, sabio, paciente y mucho más.
Dios se llamó a sí mismo YO SOY EL QUE SOY en el libro de Éxodo, y esta declaración resume tanto, ¡Él ES! Ahora, imagina que estas palabras también son una invitación de parte de Dios a que completes la oración “ÉL ES PACIENTE”. “El ES COMPASIVO”
Es tan importante estar constantemente ejercitando nuestra vista espiritual para ver los atributos de Dios en todo, porque cuando tengo la capacidad de contemplar el amor de Dios para con nosotros, más entenderemos quienes somos.
Y si nuestro Padre Celestial es paciente, compasivo, nos ama. Nos ayudará a vencer las luchas que tenemos en algún área de nuestras vidas.
¿Hay algún área en tu vida que veas con desánimo? Sé sincero contigo mismo y con Dios; yo confieso tener ciertos temores que me generan ansiedad de solo comenzar a pensar en ellos, y por eso, es que Dios quiere que confiemos en Él.
Permite que Dios hable hoy a tu vida respecto de las áreas que te han estado generando miedo, ansiedad o depresión, y cambia la narrativa, decide día tras día permitirte ver y confiar en los atributos perfectos de Dios.
El no es un Dios condenativo, el entiende nuestra humanidad, nuestras luchas y el con paciencia, nos lleva a cumplir nuestro propósito (Salmos 138:8); en algún momento podremos desfallecer pero el correrá a levantarnos. (Proverbios 24:16)
Entendiendo esto podras mirar al futuro desde una posición de paz, de seguridad y de alegría.
Sigue ejercitando la forma en que contemplas y experimentas a Dios, mientras más pienses en sus bondades, más estarás capacitado para percibirlas y mientras más las percibas, más seguridad tendrás, y mientras más seguro te encuentres en Dios, la esperanza en Él llenará tu vida.
Oración:
Amado Dios, cuan grande y maravilloso eres, gracias Padre porque nos ayudas en todas nuestras debilidades, temores y dificultades que se presentan en nuestras vidas, que no eres un Dios que condena, si no que nos enseñas el verdadero camino a seguir, gracias por ser fiel y nunca dejarnos solos, en el nombre de Jesús ¡Amén!
Attributes of God
But you, my God, God, gracious and compassionate, patient, full of love and truth,
Psalm 86:15
When we talk about God’s attributes, we talk about how God can be described. Those attributes are actually perfect characteristics, each being different from the other, but they act together and are part of the very nature of our God. That is, God is, was and always will be in every season, every moment and every epoch of your life, good, just, merciful, wise, patient and more.
God called Himself I AM THAT I AM in the book of Exodus, and this statement sums up so much, He IS! Now, imagine that these words are also an invitation from God to complete the prayer” HE IS PATIENT”. “HE IS COMPASSIONATE”
It is so important to be constantly exercising our spiritual sight to see God’s attributes in everything, because when I have the capacity to contemplate God’s love for us, the more we will understand who we are.
And if Heavenly Father is patient, compassionate, He loves us. It will help us overcome the struggles we have in some area of our lives.
Are there any areas in your life that you see with discouragement? Be sincere with yourself and with God; I confess to having certain fears that generate me anxiety just to start thinking about them, and that is why God wants us to trust Him.
Let God speak to your life today about the areas that have been generating fear, anxiety or depression, and change the narrative, decide day after day to allow you to see and trust God’s perfect attributes.
He is not a damning God, He understands our humanity, our struggles, and He patiently leads us to fulfill our purpose (Psalm 138:8); at some point we may be able to perish but He will race to rise up. (Proverbs 24:16)
Understanding this will allow you to look to the future from a position of peace, security and joy.
Go on exercising the way you please and experience God, the more you think of His goodness. The more you will be able to perceive them and the more you perceive them, the more security you will have, and the more sure you find yourself in God, the hope in Him will fill your life.
Prayer:
Beloved God, how great and wonderful you are. Thank you, Father, because you help us in all our weaknesses, fears and difficulties that arise in our lives. You are not a God who condemns, but that you teach us the true way forward, Thank you for being faithful and never leaving us alone, in the name of Jesus Amen!
