¿Hay alguna tarea a la que Dios está llamándolo que parezca superar las habilidades que usted tiene? ¿Le dice al Señor: «No puedo hacer esto», aunque sabe que es la voluntad de Él? Dios lo llamará a emprender tareas difíciles porque está enseñándole a no depender de sus propios dones y habilidades. Más bien, el Señor quiere que aprenda a descansar únicamente en Él. Quiere fortalecer su fe, desarrollar su carácter, y transformarlo a la imagen de Jesús. Por tanto, si creemos que Dios nos ha llamado a hacer para Él algo que consideramos demasiado grande, es probable que tengamos razón. Pero entendamos que Dios nos lleva en esa dirección a propósito y para nuestro bien, a fin de fortalecernos y prepararnos para cosas aún mayores. Así que no temamos, por imposible que pueda parecer nuestra misión. Avancemos con Dios y confiemos en que Él nos preparará y proporcionará todo lo que nos haga falta.

Jesús, sabes que me siento inadecuado para la tarea que tengo por delante. Pero eres más que adecuado y te agradezco porque veré tu poder en acción. Amén.
EQUIPPED FOR GOOD
The God of peace, who brought up from the dead . . . Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. HEBREWS 13:20–21
Is there some task God is calling you to accept that appears beyond the scope of your abilities? You tell the Lord, “I can’t do this,” but you know it is His will for you? God will call you to undertake difficult assignments because He is teaching you not to depend on your own gifts and abilities. Rather, He wants you to learn to rely solely on Him. He wants to strengthen your faith, grow your character, and transform you into the image of Jesus. So if you believe God has called you to do something for Him that is too great for you, you’re probably right. But understand that He’s led you to this on purpose for your good—to build you up and prepare you for even greater things. So do not be afraid no matter how impossible your assignment may appear. Go forward with God, and trust Him to equip you and provide all that you may need.

Jesus, You know I feel inadequate for the task ahead. But You are more than adequate, and I thank You that I will see Your power at work. Amen.
