No hay absolutamente ningún sustituto para la intimidad personal con Dios. Nada se compara a esto, lo cual es la clave para la satisfacción, el propósito y el gozo. En su mayoría, las personas anhelan una vida emocionante y significativa, y la buscan en todos los lugares equivocados: dinero, prestigio y relaciones. Por supuesto, nada de esto llena suficientemente el vacío en nuestros corazones. ¿Por qué? Porque ese vacío interior está destinado a ser habitado solo por la presencia de Dios.
Por tanto, lo único que puede satisfacer el anhelo indescriptible dentro de usted es una relación íntima con su Salvador. Es trascendental tener metas y relaciones, pero su búsqueda principal y más importante debe ser siempre conocer a Cristo. Solo Él puede darle la vida que ansía.
Cuando reflexiono en todo lo que he experimentado en la vida, mi relación con Dios siempre ha sido absolutamente primordial. Él ha estado allí todo el tiempo para consolarme y ayudarme a superar las pruebas de la vida, por difíciles que hayan sido. Y el regalo de su Espíritu que mora en mí me ha guiado en maneras superiores a todo lo que pude haber pedido o imaginado. Sé que eso también será cierto para usted. Así que busque al Señor y hallará todo lo que está buscando.

Jesús, esto es lo quiero: una relación íntima contigo. Acércame a ti, Señor. Amén.
INTIMATE LONGING
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. DEUTERONOMY 6:5
There is absolutely no substitute for personal intimacy with God. Nothing compares with it—it is the key to fulfillment, purpose, and joy. Most people are longing for an exciting and meaningful life, and they’re looking in all the wrong places for it: money, prestige, and relationships. Of course, none of those sufficiently fills the void in our hearts. Why? Because that emptiness within us was only ever meant to be indwelt by God’s presence.
Therefore, the only thing that can ever satisfy the indescribable longing within you will be an intimate relationship with your Savior. It’s important to have goals and relationships, but your primary and most important pursuit should always be to know Christ. Only He can give you the life you long for.
When I think about everything I’ve experienced in life, my relationship with God has always been absolutely paramount. He has consistently been there to comfort me and bring me through life’s trials, however hard they’ve been. And the gift of His indwelling Spirit has led me in ways above and beyond all I could have asked for or imagined. I know that will be true for you as well. So seek Him and find all you’re looking for.

Jesus, this is what I want—an intimate relationship with You. Draw me near, Lord. Amen.
