Juan 1:12-13
Mas a cuantos lo recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dio el derecho de ser hijos de Dios. Estos no nacen de la sangre, ni por deseos naturales, ni por voluntad humana, sino que nacen de Dios.
Ser hijo de Dios es un gran privilegio y es la mayor de todas las dádivas que podemos recibir como seres humanos.
Ningún otro ser creado tiene ese privilegio.
Cuando creemos en Jesús y lo aceptamos como Salvador por fe, dejamos de ser solo criaturas y pasamos a ser adoptados como hijos por el Padre celestial. Esa adopción a través del gran amor de Dios por medio de su Hijo unigénito es algo ¡fantástico!
El que es nacido de Dios puede andar en su
presencia confiando y siendo más como Jesús, nuestro Señor y nuestra meta. Si fijamos nuestra atención en el Hijo de Dios (Jesús), encontraremos en él nuestro patrón y mejor ejemplo para agradar al Padre en todo. A lo largo del camino, por fe, y con el perfeccionamiento que viene de Dios, vamos adquiriendo aspectos del carácter de Cristo para ser más semejantes a él como hijos genuinos y amados del Padre.
Anda y vive como hijo de Dios:
Si aun no has recibido a Jesús como Señor en tu corazón, este es el primer paso para llegar a ser un hijo de Dios.
Arrepiéntete de tus errores y cree en Jesús para ser aceptado en la gran familia de Dios.
Jesús es la mejor referencia para aprender a ser mejores hijos de Dios. Conoce más sobre
él a través del estudio de la Biblia.
Busca acercarte a Dios diariamente. Demuestra en la práctica tu amor y dedicación a él.
Congrégate junto a otros hermanos en Cristo en una familia cristiana saludable para allí amar, servir y ser edificado en la fe.

Señor Dios, muchas gracias por amarme y aceptarme como hijo en tu gran familia. Por tu gracia en Jesús puedo recibir el perdón y la salvación para estar para siempre junto a ti. Ayúdame para que durante toda mi vida yo pueda andar como tu hijo Jesús que te honró y te amó hasta el fin. Amén.
Walk like a child of God
John 1:12-13
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
Being a child of God is a great privilege and is the greatest of all the gifts we can receive as human beings.
No other created being has that privilege.
When we believe in Jesus and accept Him as our Savior by faith, we cease to be only creatures and become adopted as children by the heavenly Father. That adoption through God’s great love through his only begotten Son is a fantastic thing!
He who is born of God can walk in his presence by trusting and being more like Jesus, our Lord, and our goal. If we focus our attention on the Son of God (Jesus), we will find in him our pattern and best example to please the Father in everything. Along the way, by faith, and with the perfection that comes from God, we acquire aspects of Christ’s character to be more like him as genuine and beloved children of the Father.
Walk and live as a child of God:
If you have not yet received Jesus as Lord in your heart, this is the first step in becoming a child of God.
Repent of your mistakes and believe in Jesus to be accepted into God’s great family.
Jesus is the best reference to learning to be better children of God. Learn more about him through Bible study.
Seek to approach God daily. Demonstrate in practice your love and dedication to it.
Become together with other brethren in Christ in a healthy Christian family to love, serve, and be edified in faith.

Prayer:
Lord God, thank you so much for loving me and accepting me as a son or daughter in your great family. By your grace in Jesus I can receive forgiveness and salvation to be forever with you. Help me so that throughout my life I can walk like your son Jesus who honored you and loved you to the end. Amen.
