“Alabo tu nombre por tu amor inagotable y tu fidelidad”.
Salmos 138:2
Inexhaustible love
“I praise your name for your inexhaustible love and your faithfulness.”
Psalms 138: 2
This truth of inexhaustible love is a reality, although for many believers it is not, because they do not feel loved, or do not feel worthy of God’s love. We cannot think that God loves like we do, he is not a human love, he is a divine love, he is agape love. This agape love is unconditional, it is generous and expects nothing in return. If the Lord loved us according to our behavior, firstly it would not be agape and secondly we would be without receiving love from God. He loves us because God is love.
In the parable of the prodigal Son, Jesus explains to us what his love is like.
The prodigal son asks his father for the inheritance, abandoning his house and everything he had; returning some time later empty-handed and repentant, recognizing that in his father’s house even his father’s servants lived better than what he was living. The attitude of his father was to receive him with a hug full of love, happy because he had returned and without caring that everything he had given him, he wasted; he affirms her in the position of his son and celebrates together with his for his return home.
This is the love of God, he is always waiting for you.
Do not hesitate!
It doesn’t matter what condition you are in and what you’ve done.
He tells you today: I love you with eternal love and that you remember this Christmas that he gave you his only son so that he would die on the cross and you could always be with him, without having anything or anyone between you and him.
Some characteristics of your Heavenly Father’s love
Perfect: There is nothing to add or change, it is perfect.
Eternal: It is from eternity, has always existed and will continue to exist.
Infinity: It has no limit, it is a constant flow of love.
Unique: It is born in God, it originates in his own Presence.
Incomprehensible: It cannot be reasoned, the human being cannot understand it.
Unconditional: It does not depend on our conduct or our works.
God not only speaks of his inexhaustible love for him in his Word, but the evidences are many, and the most important and that is still valid was demonstrated through his Only Son, by giving him for all of us.
Prayer:
Beloved God! Your love is unmatched, there is no one who loves us as your Lord and as Father you always want the best for us, that is why you reveal the greatness of your love to each helpless heart that walks in orphanhood, you start the rejection and you embrace us with your Fatherhood; -Thanks, Dad! In the name of Jesus, amen!
