1 Juan 3:18
Hijitos míos, no amemos de palabra ni de lengua, sino de hecho y en verdad.
Para algunos es muy fácil decir “te amo” o “Dios te bendiga” o algunos piden perdón y dicen “lo siento mucho”, aunque estas palabras tienen mucho valor, lo pueden decir pero realmente en lo más profundo de su corazón no lo sienten así.
El Señor exhorto fuertemente a los sacerdotes de la época cuando el camino aquí en la tierra; porque lo que ellos predicaban no era lo que ellos practicaban.
Predicaban la palabra del Dios de amor pero ellos mismos no vivían de acuerdo al amor de Dios.
Dios manifestó el mayor amor por nosotros a través de Jesús, quien por amor murió por nosotros en la cruz para poder tener una relación directa con nosotros y claro lo más importante obtener la salvación a través de Él.
Según lo que nos enseña la palabra sería mejor quedarse callado si no estás sintiendo el amor por alguien, en vez de decirlo por conveniencia o apariencia; definitivamente es mejor callar, porque si lo dices solo por aparentar es un engaño, una mentira, y esto se llama una falsa humildad.
Reconoce realmente que hay en tu corazón; si no puedes perdonar, si no puedes amar a los demás, ¡tal vez! ni a ti mismo te amas; lo más seguro nunca nadie te dijo que te amaba o nadie demostró afecto, cariño; creciste en un ambiente frívolo, dañino y egoista. O por lo contrario amaste mucho pero te hicieron daño, no correspondieron a tu gran amor, tu corazón está herido y decidiste no volver a amar; formaste una barrera en tu corazón, no manifiestas o das amor, ni permites recibir el amor.
Otro caso podría ser que lo dices solo por temor a no encajar en el grupo que te desenvuelves.
Estos y muchos otros podrían ser lo motivos por lo que solo lo dices pero no hay una acción real de amor.
La transparencia de corazón es una necesidad absoluta para acercarse más a Cristo. El Padre quiere que usted sienta una confianza suficiente en su amor constante como para ser completamente sincero ante Él y así ante los hombres con respecto a cualquier cosa que tenga en su corazón.
El amor del Padre es suficiente para sostenerle, enfrente lo que enfrente. Permita que Él expulse sus temores, engaño, sane sus heridas y le dé paz; recibe de su amor y así aprenderás a amarte a ti mismo y a los demás; no solo diciéndolo sino con acciones llenas de amor.
Oración:
¡Mi Rey de Reyes! Necesitamos de ti para poder caminar en amor y ser verdaderos y genuinos, sin hipocresía ni falsa humildad; te pedimos que sanes las heridas del corazón que a endurecido las vidas y traído dolor; que tu amor ágape rebose en nosotros para ser verdaderos embajadores de tu Reino aquí en la tierra. En el nombre de Jesús. ¡Amén!
Love in Action
1 John 3:18
My little children, let us not love in word or language, but in fact and in truth.
For some it is very easy to say “I love you” or “God bless you” or some ask for forgiveness and say “I am very sorry”, although these words have a lot of value, they can say it but really in the depths of their hearts they do not feel it.
The Lord strongly exhorted the priests of the time when He walked here on earth; because what they preached was not what they practiced.
They preached the word of the God of love but they themselves did not live according to the love of God.
God manifested the greatest love for us through Jesus, who out of love died for us on the cross in order to have a direct relationship with us and of course the most important thing to obtain salvation through Him.
According to what the word teaches us, it would be better to keep quiet if you are not feeling love for someone, instead of saying it for convenience or appearance; it is definitely better to be silent, because if you say it just to pretend it is a deception, a lie, and this is called a false humility.
Really acknowledge what is in your heart; if you can’t forgive, if you can’t love others, maybe you do not love yourself; most certainly no one ever told you that they loved you or no one showed affection; You grew up in a frivolous, harmful and selfish environment. Or, on the contrary, you loved a lot but they hurt you, they did not correspond to your great love, your heart is hurt and you decided not to love again; you formed a barrier in your heart, you do not manifest or give love, nor do you allow to receive love.
Another case could be that you say it only for fear of not fitting into the group that you develop.
These and many others could be the reasons why you just say it but there is no real action of love.
Transparency of heart is an absolute necessity to draw closer to Christ. The Father wants you to feel confident enough in his constant love to be completely honest with him and thus with men about whatever is on his heart.
The love of the Father is enough to sustain you, whatever you face. Let Him expel his fears, deceit, heal his wounds and give him peace; receive from his love and thus you will learn to love yourself and others; not just saying it but with actions full of love.
Prayer:
My King of Kings! We need you to be able to walk in love and be true and genuine, without hypocrisy or false humility; We ask you to heal the wounds of the heart that have hardened lives and brought pain; May your agape love overflow into us to be true ambassadors of your Kingdom here on earth. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
