Todos entramos en nuestra relación con Dios con muchas cosas de nosotros que necesitan cambiar. No podemos cambiarnos a nosotros mismos por mera voluntad, pero Dios nos cambia. Es un proceso que lleva tiempo y, por eso, a menudo pensamos que nada está cambiando, pero sí lo está. No mire cuán lejos todavía tiene que ir; mire cuán lejos ha llegado.
Dios nos cambia de adentro hacia afuera. Nuestra parte es confiar en Él y creer que nos ha hecho nuevas criaturas en Él como dice su Palabra (ver 2 Corintios 5:17).
Cuanto más renovemos nuestra mente estudiando la Palabra de Dios, más viviremos en la realidad de su promesa. Empiece a verse a sí mismo de la manera en que Dios lo ve y sobre todo tenga paciencia y crea siempre que Dios está obrando, aunque no pueda ver lo que está haciendo.

Embrace the New You
And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.
(2 Corinthians 3:18)
We all enter our relationship with God with many things about us that need to change. We cannot change ourselves by mere willpower, but God does change us. It is a process that takes time, and because of that we often think that nothing is changing, but it is. Don’t look at how far you still have to go; look at how far you have come.
God changes us from the inside out. Our part is to trust Him and believe that He has made us new creatures in Him as His Word says (see 2 Corinthians 5:17).
The more we renew our mind by studying God’s Word, the more we will live in the reality of His promise. Start to see yourself the way God sees you, and above all be patient and always believe that God is working, even if you can’t see what He is doing.
