Pues la piedra era muy grande. Pero, al fijarse bien, se dieron cuenta de que esta vba corrida. —No se asusten —les dijo—. Ustedes buscan a Jesús el nazareno, el que fue crucificado. ¡Ha resucitado! No está aquí. Miren el lugar donde lo pusieron. MARCOS 16:4, 6
La mayoría de nosotros sabemos que Jesús fue levantado de entre los muertos. Siempre que oímos esto, sabemos que forma parte de la historia de Jesús. Pero ¿alguna vez hemos meditado realmente en la verdad de esta frase? ¡Jesús fue levantado de entre los muertos! Así que, desde luego, podemos confiarle nuestra vida.
Muchas veces dudamos del amor de Dios hacia nosotros. Lo apartamos a un lado e intentamos hacerlo todo por nosotros mismos. Dudamos de su
verdad y de su poder de sanación. Ni siquiera pensamos que lo podemos hacer todo a través de él. Pero, sin que nos parezca una contradicción, aceptamos fácilmente que Jesús murió y volvió a levantarse. ¡Si él es capaz de hacer eso, también nosotros podremos superar nuestras pruebas!
Oración:
Gracias por el recordatorio, Jesús, de que la piedra fue apartada. Yo lo creo y creo que todas tus promesas son verdad. ¡Tú me amas! Puedo confiarte todos aquellos detalles que he estado intentando tener bajo mi control.
Rolled Away
When they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.” MARK 16:4, 6
Most of us know that Jesus was raised from the dead. Whenever we hear it, we know it to be part of the story of Jesus. But have we ever really meditated on the truth of that statement? Jesus was raised from the dead! Certainly he can be trusted with our lives.
Many times we doubt God’s love for us. We cast him aside and try to do it all ourselves. We doubt his truth and his healing power. We don’t think we can do everything through his strength, yet, in the same breath, we easily accept that Jesus died and rose again.If he can do that, our trials can be overcome!
Oración:
Thank you for the reminder, Jesus, that the stone was rolled away! I believe it, and I believe that all of your promises are true. You love me! I can trust you with all of the details that I have been trying to control.
