AVANZAMOS A UNA verdad todavía más profunda cuando aprendemos que siempre que hay dos o tres personas reunidas en el nombre de Dios, Él está en medio. Él ya está en usted como parte de su creación, y Él está en usted como su templo, pero esa medida de su presencia incrementa todavía más cuando se reúne con otros creyentes en su nombre. “En el nombre de Jesús” significa más que la manera de terminar una oración. Es, de hecho, el intento de hacer y ser lo que Él haría y sería en esa situación dada. Reunirse en su nombre significa que su reunión debería verse como cuando Jesús se reunía con la gente hace dos mil años. Si esa es una definición correcta, entonces, ¿cuántas de sus reuniones son verdaderamente en su nombre?

GOD’S PRESENCE IN OUR MIDST
For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. —MATTHEW 18:20
WE PROGRESS TO an even deeper truth when we learn that whenever there are two or three people gathered in God’s name, He is in their midst. He is already in you as a part of His creation, and He is in you as His temple, but that measure of His presence increases still more when you come together with other believers in His name. “In Jesus’ name” means more than an ending to a prayer. It is, in fact, the attempt to do and be what He would do and be in that given situation. To gather in His name means that your gathering should look as it did when Jesus met with people two thousand years ago. If that is a correct definition, then how many of your gatherings are actually in His name?

When my life is lived in Jesus’ name, I become a reflection of His life and presence.
