Salmos 119:9
La pureza es un área en nuestras vidas donde es difícil ser auténtico. Dios nos llama a hacer de la pureza una prioridad. Cuando tenemos impureza en nuestros corazones, nos roba nuestra visión y claridad para entender a Dios. De hecho, nos roba nuestro destino y autoridad espiritual. Dios quiere que llevemos el evangelio. Él quiere que tu vida respalde lo que predicas y quiere que vivas más por el carácter que por el carisma.
Según la Palabra de Dios, la pureza es posible, aunque no fácil. Dios nos llama a ser santos, como Él es santo. Esto es absolutamente imposible en lo natural y solo es posible a través de la gracia sobrenatural de Dios. Cuando queremos ser puros ante Dios, llegamos a ese deseo por medio de la obra de su Espíritu en nosotros. Cuando elegimos vivir una vida justa y conforme a Él, esa es su gracia que obra en nuestras vidas.
La pureza requiere poder. ¿Dónde está el poder que necesitamos para vivir puros en este mundo? ¿Cómo mantenemos nuestros corazones y nuestras mentes puros cuando pecados como la codicia, lujuria y otras cosas impuras bombardean nuestras vidas? Primero, a través del poder de la cruz. La Palabra dice que, si caminamos en la luz y confesamos nuestros pecados, la sangre de Jesús nos purifica de pecado e injusticia. Segundo, a través del poder de la Palabra. Podemos permanecer en un camino de pureza viviendo de acuerdo con su Palabra. Por último, a través del poder del Espíritu Santo. Pablo dice que, cuando caminamos por el Espíritu, no satisfacemos los deseos de la carne. El Espíritu trabaja para hacernos puros como Jesús.
La pureza es tanto una crisis como una experiencia en nuestras vidas. Cuando llegamos a un lugar de rendición total a Jesús y nos abrimos a Él, comenzamos un proceso donde nos purifica con el tiempo. La voluntad general y perfecta de Dios para ti es que seas a la imagen de Jesucristo. El poder de la cruz, la Palabra y el Espíritu Santo, continuarán aumentando el calor y presionándote para que elimines las impurezas de tu vida.
Hay pasos prácticos para mantenerse en un camino de pureza. Sé una persona que huye del pecado. Ten una persona responsable que te haga preguntas difíciles como: «¿Te mantienes puro?». Alimenta tu espíritu con las cosas de Dios y fortalece tu ser interior. Mantente atento y lucha por la pureza. Adora constantemente y testifica a los demás sobre el gran amor de Dios. Lo más importante: enamórate de tu Salvador. Su sangre es tu única esperanza.
Jesús busca un reflejo de sí mismo en tu vida.
Oración:
Amado Rey, tu deseo es que seamos puros y santos como tú lo eres, ayúdanos hacer personas determinadas, obedientes y radicales para seguir el camino que tú has trazado para nosotros; queremos ser reflejo tuyo amado Dios; por eso sea el poder de la cruz activando en nosotros pureza y redimiéndonos de toda clase de iniquidad heredada. Y el poder de tu Santo Espíritu empoderándonos para apartarnos del pecado y tu bendita palabra nos redarguya y nos confronte para llevarnos por caminos de justicia; queremos siempre agradarte y llevar una vida en consagración para ti, en el nombre de Jesús ¡Amén!

How can a young man stay pure? Obeying your word.
Psalm 119:9
Purity is an area in our lives where it is difficult to be authentic. God calls us to make purity a priority. When we have impurity in our hearts, it robs us of our vision and clarity to understand God. In fact, it robs us of our destiny and spiritual authority. God wants us to carry the gospel. He wants your life to support what you preach and he wants you to live more by character rather than by charisma.
According to God’s Word, purity is possible, though not easy. God calls us to be holy, as He is holy. This is absolutely impossible in the natural and is only possible through God’s supernatural grace. When we want to be pure before God, we come to that desire through the work of His Spirit in us. When we choose to live a righteous and conforming life, that is His grace at work in our lives.
Purity requires power. Where is the power we need to live pure in this world? How do we keep our hearts and minds pure when sins like greed, lust, and other impure things bombard our lives? First, through the power of the cross. The Word says that if we walk in the light and confess our sins, the blood of Jesus purifies us of sin and injustice. Second, through the power of the Word. We can remain on a path of purity by living according to His Word. Finally, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul says that when we walk by the Spirit, we do not satisfy the desires of the flesh. The Spirit works to make us pure like Jesus.
Purity is both a crisis and an experience in our lives. When we come to a place of total surrender to Jesus and open ourselves to Him, we begin a process where He purifies us over time. God’s general and perfect will for you is for you to be in the image of Jesus Christ. The power of the cross, the Word and the Holy Spirit, will continue to increase the heat and pressure you to remove impurities from your life.
There are practical steps to staying on a path of purity. Be a person who flees from sin. Have a responsible person ask you tough questions like, “Are you staying pure?” Feed your spirit with the things of God and strengthen your inner self. Stay vigilant and strive for purity. He constantly worships and testifies to others about God’s great love. Most importantly, fall in love with your Savior. His blood is your only hope.
Jesus seeks a reflection of Himself in your life.
Prayer:
Dear King, your desire is that we be pure and holy as you are, help us to make determined, obedient and radical people to follow the path that you have traced for us; we want to be a reflection of your beloved God; that is why it is the power of the cross activating in us purity and redeeming us from all kinds of inherited iniquity. And the power of your Holy Spirit empowering us to turn away from sin and your blessed word redraws us and confronts us to lead us down paths of righteousness; we always want to please you and lead a life in consecration for you, in the name of Jesus Amen!
