Nos han dicho y repetido que Jesús está sentado a la derecha del Padre intercediendo por nosotros pero alguna vez de verdad hemos meditado en esa frase “Jesús está intercediendo por nosotros”
Eso quiere decir que es el Señor Jesús quien aboga por nosotros a través de su sangre.
“Tenemos un abogado ante el Padre, a Jesucristo el justo”.
1 Juan 2:1
La semana pasada estuvimos hablando sobre la muerte en la cruz de Jesús, es exactamente en ese momento donde encontramos el significado de que “El es nuestro defensor” porque aún siendo Jesús puro; tuvo tanto amor por nosotros que pago por nuestros pecados y deudas, es ahí donde podemos ver que prefirió aún sabiendo el sufrimiento y la humillación, defendernos de la muerte.
En muchas ocasiones vemos como Jesús aboga por nosotros, ya sea en nuestras finanzas, en nuestra familia, en nuestros empleos y en nuestra vida personal.
Cuando pasamos por una tribulación al único que debemos acudir de primera opción es a nuestro Padre Celestial porque es ahí en donde vamos a encontrar refugio y un resultado en victoria de aquella batalla.
Es el Señor quien le quita toda legalidad que le entregamos a el enemigo, tomando toda maldición de nuestra generación, convirtiendo todo en bendición y abundancia.
El nos defiende porque Jesús se identifica con nosotros, no importa de donde vengas, lo realmente importante es que lo tengamos a Él siempre, de primero, tomando nuestras decisiones y haciéndolo capitán de nuestra vida.
Oración:
Amado Jesús, gracias por interceder ante el Padre, aunque no lo merezcamos, es tu amor hacia nosotros que hace que intercedas en todo tiempo; gracias por tanto amor y el perdón inmerecido, guardanos de todo ataque del enemigo y que nuestro adversario quite sus manos de nuestras vidas y familia, en el nombre de Jesús. ¡Amén!
Your Defender
We have been told and repeated that Jesus is sitting at the right of the Father interceding for us but we have ever truly meditated on that phrase “Jesus is interceding for us”
That means that it is the Lord Jesus who advocate for us through his blood.
“We have an advocate before the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”
1 John 2:1
Last week we were talking about death on the cross of Jesus. It is precisely at that time that we find the meaning that “He is our advocate” because even though He is pure, he had so much love for us that he paid for our sins and debts. That is where we can see that he preferred, even knowing the suffering and humiliation He would face, to defend us from death.
On many occasions we see Jesus advocating for us, whether in our finances, in our family, in our jobs, and in our personal lives.
When we go through a tribulation, the only one we should turn first is to our Heavenly Father because that is where we will find refuge and a resulting victory from the battle.
It is the Lord who takes away all legality that we give to the enemy, and taking every curse of our generation, turning everything into blessing and abundance.
He defends us because Jesus identifies with us, no matter where you come from. The really important thing is that we always have Him, first, making our decisions and making Him the captain of our lives.
Prayer:
Beloved Jesus, thank you for interceding before the Father, even if we do not deserve it, it is your love toward us that makes you intercede at all times; Thank you therefore for undeserved love and forgiveness, guard us from every attack by the enemy and let our adversary take his hands away from our lives and family, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
