Ester 4:14
Si te quedas callada en un momento como este, el alivio y la liberación para los judíos surgirán de algún otro lado, pero tú y tus parientes morirán. ¿Quién sabe si no llegaste a ser reina precisamente para un momento como este?».
Ester nunca pensó que sería la reina del imperio persa que eran los que gobernaban en esos tiempos.
Había un plan de Dios para su vida, una función que ella debía cumplir en su vida como hija de Dios.
Y siendo ya Ester la reina, ella y todos los judíos estaban bajo amenaza de exterminio a manos de Amán. Él había manipulado al rey a fin de que emitiera un decreto llamando a que los judíos fuesen borrados de la faz de la tierra. Ester, aunque era solo una joven, había aprendido mucho de su primo Mardoqueo.
Ella entendió su identidad como hija de Dios y sabía que en sus fuerzas no podría lograrlo.
Y es por eso que ella convocó un ayuno de tres días para los judíos e incluso para las personas que estaban bajo su cargo en el palacio. Lo que el enemigo había propuesto para mal, Dios lo cambió para bien porque alguien se humilló, ayunó, oró, y buscó su rostro. Amán y todos sus hijos fueron colgados en la horca que había preparado para Mardoqueo, y los judíos fueron salvados.
¿Está usted bajo ataque? ¿Está alguien calumniándole o amenazando con daño físico?
Es momento de ayunar y orar. A veces da la sensación de que el enemigo ha entrado como una inundación contra usted; ayune y ore.
¿Está afrontando algo que le situará en peligro físico? ¿Tiene que afrontar una operación, un peligroso viaje de algún tipo? ¿Sirve en el ejército o tiene un cónyuge, un hijo o una hija allí que corren peligro físico?… Debería usted ayunar y orar.
Usted y yo somos hijos de Dios y la oración y el ayuno es una de las llaves del Reino que Dios nos ha dado para combatir efectivamente nuestras batallas.
Oración:
Rey de Gloria, gracias por la identidad que nos has dado, porque sabemos que cuando oramos y ayunamos, tú ves nuestro corazón de hijos y abres los cielos a través de éstas llaves poderosas que has puesto en nuestras manos

If you keep quiet at a time like this, relief and liberation for the Jews will come from somewhere else, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if you didn’t become queen precisely for a moment like this?
Esther never thought that she would be the queen of the Persian empire that were the rulers at that time.

He had manipulated the king into issuing a decree calling for the Jews to be wiped off the face of the earth. Esther, although she was only a young woman, had learned much from her cousin Mordecai.
She understood her identity as a daughter of God and knew that she in her own strength could not achieve it.
And that is why she called a three-day fast for the Jews and even for the people who were under her charge in the palace. What the enemy had proposed for evil, God changed for good because someone humbled themselves, fasted, prayed, and sought His face. Haman and all his children were hanged on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai, and the Jews were saved.
Are you under attack? Is someone slandering you or threatening physical harm?
It is time to fast and pray. Sometimes it seems that the enemy has come in like a flood against you; fast and pray.
Are you dealing with something that will put you in physical danger? Do you have to face an operation, a dangerous journey of some kind? Are you serving in the military or do you have a spouse, son or daughter there who are in physical danger? … You should fast and pray.
You and I are children of God and prayer and fasting is one of the keys to the Kingdom that God has given us to effectively fight our battles.
Prayer:
King of Glory, thank you for the identity you have given us, because we know that when we pray and fast, you see our hearts as children and open the heavens through these powerful keys that you have placed in our hands to combat darkness, and destroy all evil work, in Jesus name, amen.
