Isaías 58:11-12
Jehová te pastoreará siempre, y en las sequías saciará tu alma, y dará vigor a tus huesos; y serás como huerto de riego, y como manantial de aguas, cuyas aguas nunca faltan. Y los tuyos edificarán las ruinas antiguas; los cimientos de generación y generación levantarás, y serás llamado reparador de portillos, restaurador de calzadas para habitar.
Para dirigirnos en el propósito que Dios tiene en nuestras vidas debemos alejarnos de todo lo que nos desvía de cumplir el destino profético que Dios ha puesto en nuestras vidas para moldear la Historia junto con Él.
Eso es lo que hace el ayuno que Dios ha escogido; romper las ataduras y las limitaciones de su vida, de modo que Dios pueda liberar su poder por medio de usted hacia otros.
El ayuno es una elección intencional de proseguir hacia las profundidades del corazón de Dios para oír sus planes y avanzar en su destino divino en el Poder de su Espíritu. Dios escoge un ayuno que desata ataduras de maldad, levanta pesadas cargas, libera a quienes están oprimidos y rompe todo yugo.
¿Siente cómo si algo le hubiera estado reteniendo de su destino? ¿Vive con el peso de la depresión o el desánimo… con la carga de proveer para su familia en una economía inestable… con la presión de unos hijos que no son salvos?.
Cuando ayuna, clama al Señor para que rompa esas ataduras y levante esas cargas que le hacen sentirse desesperado e indefenso. Permita que Él vuelva a poner las cosas en su sitio en su propia vida; esa es una de las recompensas del ayuno. Pronto, verá usted a Dios usarle para llevar libertad también a otros.
¿Hay algo en su vida que le tenga atado, derribado y retenido? ¿Está usted “en yugo” con un mal hábito, una iniquidad, un pecado habitual?.
Un yugo era un instrumento duro de madera utilizado alrededor del cuello de dos bueyes para unirlos el uno al otro para arar. Donde iba un buey, el otro tenía que moverse con él.
¿Está usted en yugo con algo que está destruyendo su vida? ¿Tiene malos hábitos que le mantienen en esclavitud, obstaculizando su salud, acortando su vida y destruyendo su testimonio cristiano?.
No tiene que permanecer en yugo con sus adicciones. ¡El ayuno que Dios escoge rompe todo yugo!.
¿Ha estado alguna vez en un avión cuando dan las instrucciones de seguridad?…
Los asistentes de vuelo siempre explican que las máscaras de oxígeno caerán desde los compartimentos superiores. Entonces explican que tiene que ponerse la máscara primero usted mismo antes de intentar ayudar a otra persona. Eso es lo que Dios desea: que usted esté en posición de quebrantamiento en el ayuno para que Él pueda romper todo yugo de atadura y quitar toda carga de su vida primero, a fin de poder entonces capacitarle para rescatar a otros… alimentar a quienes tienen hambre, albergar a los pobres y los marginados, y vestir a quienes no tienen ropa. El ayuno que Dios escoge da revelación en áreas que han estado nubladas en su vida, a medida que Él comunica su voluntad y dirección para su vida, su luz surgirá, y el Señor promete guiarle continuamente.
¡Dios proveerá para usted! Deje de preocuparse y comience a ayunar.
Oración:
Padre Amado, éste es el tiempo que has preparado para manifestar tu Gloria y Poder, ven y pastorea nuestras vidas, sacia nuestras almas calmando nuestra sed, que tu Santo Espíritu rompa las cadenas y el yugo se pudra a causa de tu unción, que hoy sea un nuevo comienzo donde aprendamos a caminar siempre dependiendo de ti, en el nombre de Jesús, Amén!
What is holding you back?
Isaiah 58: 11-12
The Lord will shepherd you always, and in drought He will satisfy your soul, and He will strengthen your bones; and you will be like an irrigated garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters never fail. And yours will build the ancient ruins; You will build the foundations of generation and generation, and you will be called a repairman of gates, a restorer of roads to inhabit.
To guide ourselves in the purpose that God has in our lives we must move away from everything that deviates us from fulfilling the prophetic destiny that God has placed in our lives to shape History together with Him.
That is what the fast that God has chosen does; break the bonds and limitations of our lives so that God can release his power through you to others.
Fasting is an intentional choice to press into the depths of God’s heart to hear his plans and advance his divine destiny in the Power of His Spirit. God chooses a fast that unties the bondage of evil, lifts heavy burdens, frees those who are oppressed, and breaks every yoke.
Do you feel like something has been holding you back from his fate? Do you live with the weight of depression or discouragement … with the burden of providing for your family in an unstable economy … with the pressure of unsaved children?
When we fast, we cry out to the Lord to break those ties and lift those burdens that make us feel hopeless and helpless. Allow Him to put things back in its place in our own lives; that’s one of the rewards of fasting. Soon, you will see God use you to bring freedom to others as well.
Is there something in your life that has you tied up, pulled you down, and held you back? Are you “yoked” with a bad habit, an iniquity, a habitual sin?
A yoke was a hard wooden instrument used around the neck of two oxen to join them to each other for plowing. Where one ox went, the other had to move with it.
Are you yoked to something that is destroying your life? Do you have bad habits that keep you in bondage, hampering your health, shortening your life, and destroying your Christian testimony?
You don’t have to be yoked to your addictions. The fast that God chooses breaks every yoke!
Have you ever been on a plane when the safety instructions are given? …
Flight attendants always explain that oxygen masks will fall from the overhead compartments. They then explain that you have to put the mask on yourself first before trying to help someone else. That is what God wants: for you to be in a broken position in fasting so that He can break every yoke of bondage and remove every burden from your life first, so He can then enable you to rescue others … feed those who have hunger, shelter the poor and marginalized, and clothe the unclothed. The fast that God chooses gives revelation in areas that have been clouded in your life, as He communicates his will and direction for your life, his light will arise, and the Lord promises to guide you continually.
God will provide for you! Stop worrying and start fasting.
Prayer:
Beloved Father, this is the time that you have prepared to manifest your Glory and Power, come and shepherd our lives, quench our souls by quenching our thirst, may your Holy Spirit break the chains and the yoke rot because of your anointing, that today be a new beginning where we learn to walk always depending on you, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
