1 Reyes 8:54
“Cuando acabó Salomón de hacer a Jehová toda esta oración y súplica, se levantó de estar de rodillas delante del altar de Jehová con sus manos extendidas al cielo; y puesto en pie, bendijo a toda la congregación de Israel…”
Es de recordar que a Salomón se le aparece Dios en un sueño en cuanto empezaba a tomar la posición que su padre el Rey David le había cedido, Dios le había permitido ser el sucesor de su padre y en el sueño le dice pídeme lo que quieras y te lo daré, Salomón con temor en su corazón, reconociendo que su padre David había obedecido a Dios en todo y que así mismo había sido bendecido en todo, se sintió honrado de tomar esa posición, pero reconoció que sin el Dios de su padre, no podría gobernar al pueblo de Israel y le pide a Dios sabiduría.
A Dios le agradó su petición y le dio tanta sabiduría que no ha habido, ni habrá un hombre tan sabio como él y no solo le dio eso, sino que lo prosperó tanto que no ha habido sobre la tierra otro hombre tan prospero como él.
Salomón el hombre más sabio y prospero reconoció que si no estaba en oración con Dios no podría ser de bendición al pueblo de Israel.
¡Analiza! ¿Que te detiene a ti de buscar a Dios en oración?.
El buscar de Dios no se trata de conseguir las cosas que anhelamos, se trata de seguir su voluntad que será de bendición para nosotros mismos y para todos los que nos rodean.
El secreto de Salomón fue buscar primero el Reino de Dios y su justicia y todo lo demás se le fue añadido. (Lea Mateo 6:33)
¿Te cuesta a ti buscar de Dios?
Esfuérzate, se intencional y lo encontrarás; ya que el Reino de Dios sufre violencia y solo los atrevidos y violentos lo arrebatan. (Mateo 11:12)
Cada oración que levantas de día, noche y madrugada literalmente es una acumulación de demanda delante de Dios… y tal vez usted se esté preguntando: ¿Qué es una acumulación de demanda o de oración?.
Una demanda es cuando pagamos un precio a Dios por aquello que estamos pidiéndole, y sabemos que todo lo que recibimos de Dios es por gracia, pero a veces debemos tomar una determinación, y ésta es la razón por la cual hay que ser intencional; y doblegar nuestra humanidad a una vida de oración constante en el Espíritu.
Oración:
Amado Dios, hoy podemos entender que el secreto de toda bendición y todo éxito está en la oración, en la intimidad contigo… ahí es donde podemos recibir de ti las fuerzas y el poder para hacer tu perfecta voluntad y cumplir nuestro propósito en esta tierra, ayudamos a doblegar nuestra carne a una vida de oración, en el nombre de Jesús, amén.

“When Solomon had finished making all this prayer and supplication to Jehovah, he rose from his knees before Jehovah’s altar with his hands stretched out to heaven; and standing, he blessed all the congregation of Israel …”
It is to be remembered that God appears to Solomon in a dream as soon as he began to take the position that his father King David had given him, God had allowed him to be his father’s successor and in the dream he says ask me what you want and I will give it to you, Solomon with fear in his heart, recognizing that his father David had obeyed God in everything and that he had also been blessed in everything, he felt honored to take that position, but he recognized that without the God of his father , could not rule the people of Israel and asks God for wisdom.
God was pleased with his request and gave him so much wisdom that there has not been, nor will there be a man as wise as him and not only did he give him that, but he prospered him so much that there has not been another man on earth as prosperous as him.
Solomon the wisest and most prosperous man recognized that if he was not in prayer with God he could not be a blessing to the people of Israel.
Analyze! What stops you from seeking God in prayer?
Seeking God is not about getting the things we long for, it is about following his will that will be a blessing for ourselves and for all those around us.
Solomon’s secret was to seek first the Kingdom of God and his justice and everything else was added to him. (Read Matthew 6:33)
Is it difficult for you to search for God?
Push yourself, be intentional and you will find it; since the Kingdom of God suffers violence and only the daring and violent take it away. (Matthew 11:12)
Every prayer that you raise day, night and dawn is literally an accumulation of demand before God … and perhaps you are wondering: What is an accumulation of demand or prayer?
A demand is when we pay a price to God for what we are asking for, and we know that everything we receive from God is by grace, but sometimes we must bedetermined, and this is the reason why we have to be intentional; and bend our humanity to a life of constant prayer in the Spirit.
Prayer:
Dear God, today we can understand that the secret of all blessings and all success is in prayer, in intimacy with you … that is where we can receive from you the strength and power to do your perfect will and fulfill our purpose in this earth, we help bend our flesh to a life of prayer, in Jesus name, amen.
