2 Samuel 9:11
“(…) Mefi-boset, dijo el rey, comerá a mi mesa, como uno de los hijos del rey”.
Mefi-Boset se sentía indigno de presentarse frente al rey David cuando lo hace llamar, él se veía como un perro muerto, además vivía en un territorio que lo llamaban: Lodebar, que significaba “desierto – muerte”
Mefi- Boset debido a que era lisiado de sus dos pies se había acostumbrado a su condición de miseria y enfermedad. Así también hoy en día hay muchos hijos de Dios que se encuentran acostumbrados al fracaso, la pobreza, la pérdida; sin ilusión de que algo diferente podría suceder en sus vidas.
No han entendido su identidad de ser hijos de Dios, no importa como llegaste en el momento que recibiste al Señor, olvida la identidad que el mundo quizo darte ahora eres hijo de Dios, eres parte del pueblo que Dios escogió, por lo tanto eres del linaje del Reino de Dios, real sacerdocio, llamados a proclamar las virtudes del Dios que te ama y que te sacó de las tinieblas a la luz admirable (1 Pedro 2:9).
No importa como te veas o como tu te sientas, Dios te ha prometido que te restituirá todo el tiempo y todo lo demás que perdiste.
Recibe y cree esta promesa que es para todos.
Joel 2:23-26
Vosotros también, hijos de Sion, alegraos y gozaos en Jehová vuestro Dios; porque os ha dado la primera lluvia a su tiempo, y hará descender sobre vosotros lluvia temprana y tardía como al principio. Las eras se llenarán de trigo, y los lagares rebosarán de vino y aceite. Y os restituiré los años que comió la oruga, el saltón, el revoltón y la langosta, mi gran ejército que envié contra vosotros. Comeréis hasta saciaros, y alabaréis el nombre de Jehová vuestro Dios, el cual hizo maravillas con vosotros; y nunca jamás será mi pueblo avergonzado.

Oración:
Amado Padre Celestial, gracias te doy porque nos has hecho sentar no solamente en lugares celestiales, sino que nos diste acceso a tu mesa, a la mesa del gran Rey donde hay banquetes preparado para nosotros, te damos Gloria y gracias por tu gran amor hacia nosotros, en el nombre poderoso de Jesús, amén!.

2 Samuel 9:11
“(…) Mephibosheth, said the king, will eat at my table, like one of the king’s sons.”
Mefi-Boset felt unworthy to appear in front of King David when he called him, he looked like a dead dog, he also lived in a territory that they called him: Lodebar, which meant “desert-death”
Mephi-Boset because he was crippled on both of his feet had become accustomed to his condition of misery and illness. So also today there are many children of God who are used to failure, poverty, loss; with no illusion that something different could happen in their lives.
They have not understood their identity of being children of God, no matter how you arrived at the moment you received the Lord, forget the identity that the world wanted to give you, now you are a child of God, you are part of the people that God chose, therefore you are of the lineage of the Kingdom of God, royal priesthood, called to proclaim the virtues of the God who loves you and who brought you out of the darkness into the wonderful light (1 Peter 2: 9).
No matter how you look or how you feel, God has promised that He will make up for all the time and everything else you lost.
He receives and believes this promise that is for everyone.
Joel 2: 23-26
You also, children of Zion, rejoice and rejoice in the Lord your God; for he has given you the first rain in his time, and he will bring down the early and latter rain on you as at the first. The threshes will be filled with wheat, and the vats will overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the caterpillar, the jumper, the tumbler and the locust, my great army that I sent against you, ate. You shall eat your fill, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has done wonders for you; and never ever will my people be ashamed.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you because you have made us sit not only in heavenly places, but also that you gave us access to your table, to the table of the great King where there are banquets prepared for us, we give you Glory and thanks for your great love towards us, in the mighty name of Jesus, amen!
